In RL singing is my passion. I can sing like a Ying, I can sing like anything. In the shower, along with music on my smart phone with my earphones in, Christmas caroling, strumming on my guitar crooning for my wife, kids, and house guests, karaoke night. At birthday parties I can really get the crew in line to sing a good "Happy Birthday." It's simple, really. You just have to sing from the diaphragm and put some energy into it.

Once I severely nubbed while temporarily in Estel Arador getting a jump clone. Marmite had a wardec on them and killed my ship full of BPs and T2 invention stuff. They offered to let me sing in their TS to get my stuff back, but they reneged on the offer when I was so enthusiastic about singing some Julio Iglesias for them. Shouldn't have tipped my hand, second bad mistake of the evening.... Sad Oh well.

Stealing Gords words becuase it fits me as well. I'm 27 with a "decent" job - i enjoy doing it but the pay is pretty terrible and i'm starting to resent some of the workforce. I also spent the last 3 birthdays either living out of a van/boxes or alone, which I suppose added to my slightly "anti-social" nature - as in I prefer to choose my social events rather than have them thrust upon me, much to the annoyance of my family whom think that I spend too much time "indoors" and that I need to go to the pub every single friday to enjoy life.

I'm also a depressive, with a tendancy to either taking the blame/being blamed for other peoples issues. I have noted however that I am starting to become exceptionally mentally violent, which I suppose I should get looked at. In my experience happy happens to other people, so while you see me laughing, I'm not internally.

I'm cranky, irritable, annoyed, tired of the lies, head games, general stupidity. I'm tired of having to act all nice and polite to the idiots and morons in my life.

Umm....

Yeah.

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

I am, quite frankly, the most boring individual one could ever have the misfortune of having to deal with face to face.

I play Eve, and my favorite genre of music is Doom Metal. My mere presence could put a tweaker to sleep.

You're an investment banker then? Or just a lowly stock broker?

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Sometimes, I like to go to the beach late at night and bury chunks of metal with "get a life" written on them in thick black marker.

It's also fun to hurl bottles out to sea, corked up with a note inside just saying, "Nerd!"

I'm a pretty dull person. I read a lot, listen to music a lot, and write a lot. I love art even though I have no artistic skill.

I'm a freshman college student from New Jersey. My major is computer programming, but oddly enough I wound up as Treasurer for our paralegal club. I enjoy evenings on the beach whenever I can get them (in NJ you have to pay for beach tags during the day so I sneak on to the beach at night... Never been caught, it's easy), but I spend most of my time in solitude, although I do enjoy spending time on these forums and talking with all of you, my lovely space-friends.

I love reading. I voice act and compose music as hobbies. I also enjoy strategy games, everything from Command & Conquer to Planetary Annihilation, even the turned-based ones such as Space Empires and Endless Space. I've been playing FPSes my entire life so I'm pretty good at them. If anyone wants to hook up with a game of Red Faction or whatever else, feel free to shoot me a mail. I don't get much homework and only have one class a day for four days a week, so I have plenty of spare time.

I'm a complete sci-fi nerd. I love Star Trek, Firefly, Stargate (all three of the series official series), Star Wars (mostly the games, though. I spend hours trawling through the wookiepedia) and though this one may be obscure, Andromeda.

I like music, and I will at least give everything a try. My favorite artists are Caravan Palace, The Birthday Massacre, Deadmau5, and The Glitch Mob. I also like off-the-wall humor, youtube channels such as kitty0706 get me laughing my ass off every time.

I tend to be rough around the edges in person. More often than not I speak in a gruff, simple and quiet manner, since I don't like talking (I prefer writing, in case you couldn't tell). Often, I seem irritable or unapproachable, but that's only because I don't get much sleep and tend to be grumpy.

I'll probably fill in more details later.

I was born in Vietnam and when I was younger my parents left to come to America and did not want to risk me on the boat to Hong Kong so I stayed in my village with my grand mom. Once they became citizens they sponsored me when I was 14 to come to America. I came over and was put in high school with a translator since I didn't speak English at the time. I graduated high school and went to Cali State where I earned my degree in Business with a minor in accounting and marketing option.

I started working at Expedia doing accounting and just didn't like it then I got a call from my cousin who was in Florida and worked at nail salon since the owner needed more employees. I flew out to FL and found my calling, I ran their books and saw what I wanted to do. I loved the idea of working in salons and making people feel beautiful, I got my cosmetology licenses and never looked back I built a solid following of clients and opened my own salon 2 years later as well as a beauty supply distributor that supplies the salons in panhandle.

I married an amazing man last year after we had been together for 3 years; we met at a grocery store near the salon I worked at when I first got to FL. In our free time we like to go on the boat and do some fishing, we also play EvE and hearthstone, we love Netflix and show’s like family guy, criminal minds, the office and others. I love to cook Vietnamese dishes and shopping.
I guess the weirdest part of me is making my husband eat and drink dishes that I feel are normal but he thinks is odd lol. He has not gotten over some of our ingredients in meals like pho (I mean real pho not restaurant pho), and other Vietnamese dishes I cook. However he doesn’t ask and eats it, he is a CIO of a civil engineering company so when he comes homes he looks over my books and eats the food. He is still not big on to tapioca pearls but I am working on it. :)

Our weird side is we have a cat named Lucy No Boosy El Dorossy Kitty Go Spassy that we love to death and bring him on the boat with us so he can “inspect the fish”, FYI our cat swims with us (poorly, so we have to be there with him to float his wake board to him that he jumps to when he is tired to make sure his people are ok, it’s a cat thing) so it like our little dog that comes in the water with us.

Thanks for sharing all of that Smile

I'm pretty amazed your cat comes anywhere near the water. I've been a cat person all my life, and every one I've ever had has flat out HATED the water, lol. Pretty cool Big smile

:-) thank you for enjoying my story, I worked hard and am really proud of it. Sorry for the late response.

Our cat is a Maine Coon Cat. The reason it comes with us everywhere is because my husband found it as a kitten. When Lucy messes up he picks it up by the rough of the neck and tells Lucy what the problem was, shows it the error. Lucy learns and will never leave his side. The reason we have the wake board is since Maine Coon Cats have a crap ton of fur, it weighs it down in water but Lucy will swim to us. So we keep the wake board when Lucy gets tired, it jumps on the board (it is a board with a carpet layer so it can dig its claws into).

We only do this in calm water, if we have a hard wake the cat stays on the boat, if Lucy jumps in we put it back on the boat using the rough of the neck to teach it waves.
As of now Lucy understands waves and will only jump in when in calm water. Cat's can be trained, they are amazing animals and learn more than people give them credit for.

So now we both train the cat to teach it to be more water based :-)

I am a proud supporter of the LAGL permit holders.

Nothing so banal. Blink

I do custom installs, waterfront "cottages", boat houses, historical reno's and any other upscale construction that isn't mass produced.

And weirdest part is, how the estimate just keeps going up, and up, and up the more the trophy wife keeps bitching. Either way, one way or another, "hubby" is paying for it. Twisted

Nixss, wonderful story. One of my best buds in high school Khiem came to rural Texas from Vietnam, and now I'm a U.S. immigration attorney. Kids being taken all around the world-- kind of intense lives, always good when they end up working out well.

Ssabat, I have two Maine Coons, and they're both difficult. :) Superb hunters, but no social skills. Seems they just can't learn to get along and have no empathy. 100% selfish me-ism. Any insights?
