The passion that is EvE Online.

If you are reading this... you have it.

"It" is the love of the game. The game is EvE Online.

Even as the mechanics of the game change, players are active. This is what EvE is to me. A constant challenge that must be overcome. The depth of the game held me captive for years and years. The raised heartbeat, shaking hands, constant thoughts related to "how could have done that better", and the absolute addiction to the rush of pvp overshadowed my desire to show attention to my significant other.

EvE mechanics must be conquered.

This is EvE. This is the game I love. It can not be explained to those who have not experienced the real beauty that is this game.

Even as my logins dwindle to once or twice a month... my subscription(s) remain active. What's next? What needs solved? How can I fight CCP's programmers to overcome the obstacles that they put forth.

This is not a task I can complete on my own. I must call friends. Few people agree with certain changes but all of us love the challenge that they present.

This is EvE. This is the game I love... even when I'm not playing it.

I love this f*ing game so much I listen to youtube fleet battles instead of music when I have to drive 400km for work.

Next step is installing Teamspeak on my smartphone.

WTF is wrong with us?

What?

Lol

That..... Might actually be very effective.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I've got the Apocrypha login theme tune on my phones music playlist. Does that count as having the passion? Ahhhh the login memories, I miss those glorious days. Roll

I once saw someone (clearly trolling) come to gd and asked us to name the song and immediately typed something like.
" Dum dum do de Dee doo da de do da dee Dum dum do da Dee ...."
And got an answer...the correct one.

I only love EVE whenever I am not playing it.
So by posting on the forums and not logging in, I ensure that EVE remains one of my favourite games!

PTSD alarm best alarm. Shocked Imagine that you're deep in your sleep then you hear your shield alarm followed by your armor alarm then that consistent hull alarm before it finally pops waking you up in cold sweat.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!
