I'll make a real reply and won't troll.. too much...

The issue with the null bear tears over this is that you all seem to be focused on one little thing. You seem to think that this is the fix for null, and you are forgetting the other factors that will come into play and are currently in play. The reason this is going in second (industry was first, and yes that was part of the null sec fix) is because they can not mess with sov if 1/2 the damn galaxy can be anywhere instantly. They can;t add new systems if the old empires can pop over tot he new systems in a heart beat and steam roll the new guys getting setup.

Its like this, you have a country divided into multiple city states. There city states have teleportation technology, so they can drop an army int he middle of your city with no issues. If someone comes along and tried to build a new city state, the others just drop there arms on them and crush them under there boot.

If god was to somehow change that way you control your city, it still would not matter cause they would still drop there armies on you and crush you under there boot. However, if that teleport broke, then we have a whole new ball game.

First, the pos owner has to pay there workers, that the justification, you have humans running your pos who is not an immortal god.

A business owner still has to pay his employees to do work, it doesn;t matter if the work is for himself, he still has to pay them. Thats why you are charged on your pos, you may own it, but you employ workers.

Back to topic. Industry changes make it easier to make stuff in your null sec system. this means you don;t need to import goods that you can make at home. Force projection changes will make alliances decide if they still want to try and run a huge empire or start just focusing on home and make strategic choices. If they make changes to the pos' corp and alliance roles and how they work, it will make it easier again to focus on being home. Then if they apply occupational sov, and give you the means of getting all you need (all ice belts appearing everywhere via comet mining or exploration (see what i did there?)) moon goo maybe becoming an active mining platform and not passive with ways to get all the goo in a few systems. The ability to rate, explore, mine and get out of the station in your systems and do things. This should force, or help force alliances to work in smaller areas and have small regional conflicts for both enjoyment and to conquer. If you add in a resource that is scarce this might cause conflict, but if its static as we have seen with moons it won't. In a game, resources can;t be static. As I will just make deals so no one attacks my moons, or my renters. but if resources move around, this would be a conflict driver. if i have to go next door to active mine dysp and i need it for my reaction chains, there is a possible chance that i will get jumped, which could cause a fight to break out. This happens all the time in wormholes, people raid holes for there stuff, and then others come in and blow them up. And sometimes this escalates. But resources have to move, thats the best way to cause conflict.

TL;DR Pull your head out of your ass op and take a step back and look at the big picture. If everything works correctly, and if i am gleaming between the lines correctly, null will be in a WAY better place at the end of next year.

That missing "s" in the thread title makes this really funny to read. Big smile

Less funny are all those elipses in the OP. Makes the author sound like a crazy person, so I only skimmed it. Bad idea, next.

I feel the same way.. Cannot resist asking for stuff.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

While reading numerous replies both here and on Mitten's board, I get the distinct feeling that if some people are not always "winning" and being the best, then they throw a temper tantrum....

Some of us do not want to quit, they do not want the dream to die! We want to EVE to succeed and need to convince CCP to make the tough decisions that they need to make.

"If it aint broke dont fix it"

But cyno mechanics ARE broken and they are in great need for change...

I DO have issues with the way CCP is planning on fixing it thought. My take on it is the same here as it was in the official blog thread.

Travel should take time. Jump capable ships should have a Jump speed. So if they do a 5 LY jump and they have a 0.01LY / s it would take them roughly 8 minutes to travel that distance. When they get there they should pretty much be good to go as soon as their cap recharges.

There should NOT be a exponential timer if you ask me... but moving 5-15 LY in 10 seconds is WAAAAYYYYY overpowered.

So with the newest DEV Blog released...seems as though they have decided to nerf (basically) all jump capable ships, by limiting their range to 5 LY only. I mean WTF??? hey don't know about Iceland but most places in the world we have a saying..."if it aint broke........don't fix it"!!!
First it started with the industry patch where CCP has totally" screwed the pooch" on that front. I mean why in the hell would a corp get charged to do research on their own BPO's. when they own the labs and the POS????? That is total BS!!!!
Then for all the long time players who have slaved away raising skills to lvl 5 now seems as a waste of time. CCP does what THEY want and doesn't care about anything except.......cramming more content down our throats. I remember when it was 1 expansion a year and that was cool. But now every XX number of weeks they cram more in.
hell over the last 10 years it has been.....CCP introduces something and we as players figure out a different way to use it, and because CCP doesn't like they way we have figured a different approach...they nerf it.
Also have anyone noticed how fast it seems CCP has been losing DEV's??? they seem to be leaving as fast as rats scurrying off a burning ship.
Bottom line here in this rant......besides screwing all the cap pilots...CCP...look one more time......." IF IT AINT BROKE.....DONT FIX IT"

I predict the lock of this thread will be animal abuse. Beating a dead horse. Wait, its not abuse if the animal is dead.
