Well, I oppose this idea, and I think there should be less mining in general to combat deflation and keep Plex prices down.....but this idea would still be better than giving in to the 10 mil / year CODE extortion racket, which does nothing but fuel further criminality, and harms all of highsec.

Your 10M ISK/year is a token gesture showing that you support our war against the botters (reduces bot-mining), our increasing of risk to non-compliant miners (reduces mining yields by forcing "good" mining behaviour like fitting tank over yield), and the copious destruction of mining equipment and gank ships (consumes minerals/ore by forcing the replacement of ships and modules). These significant reductions do not even take into account the decrease in mining we achieve through "saving" former highsec miners by recruiting them into the New Order and a new life as a Code enforcer.

Clearly, we are a force for good by your own "there should be less mining" criteria. We are working to heal highsec, so why won't you join us?

But as I like to try to keep on topic, no OP, perma-CONCORD protection is a silly idea. To keep the risk vs. reward, 100% safety from attack would require a 100% reduction in profits. So I guess I would accept it if there were some new type of belt that you could mine in that had constant CONCORD spawns but contained only new types of unrefinable ores. Then, those that want to could mine to watch their holds fill up if that makes them happy, but this risk-free gathering of materials would have no impact on the rest of New Eden.

I'd still probably try to gank them though.
