Anyone successful at either dual boxing or more, level 5's in a cruiser sized hull?
I've done them before in a BS Marauder, but now am trying to just train Cruisers.

Thanks

Probably possible in an RR tengu chain. Look for one used in wormholes and change it around a bit for specific resists.

a passive tanked ishtar can work in some missions. could probably do a passive tank on a tengu as well.

The question here is a cruiser hull optimal for these missions? No. You want high DPS so you can get in there and finish the mission fast before someone shows up and tries to subject you to unwanted PVP.

I understand that PVP is possible, but the risk reward variable is about even I think due to lower cost for cruisers, more mobile, etc. (Except for a T3 or Faction costs).

I was wondering is some ISHTAR'S could do it reasonably, .. maybe even fit with ASB fits.

The reason I was sold on the Cruiser hulls is mission running in general isn't all that exciting, so didn't want to dedicate skill time to ships I wouldn't fly otherwise.

Thanks for the responses.

You will never be able to do The Fortress in an Ishtar. Hell, I doubt you could do it in a Marauder. Some missions are trivial to do in a drake, others more or less require a carrier, it just comepletely depends on the mission.

That being said, dual Basi/dual Oracle works, but requires some finesse at quad boxing. RR tengus work for alot of missions.

Solo cruiser will only work for a handful of the easy missions.

Way back when I tri-boxed Dominix's. With MJD and sentries, it went pretty good. It takes some getting used to with fleeting, getting lined up with everything to jump, etc. I stopped boxing before mobile tractors were available. It was a hassle to go back and get the Noc. I would run 3 4's then get the salvager to loot. Dom's don't move across the field very fast . I may give it another go now though that I'm thinking of it.

passive deadspace fit tengu (which is a cruiser Smile) with this ship I only run blitzable missions for on average 200k lp an hour which can result in between 120 and 500 mil an hour depending on where you sell and how long you are willing to wait

Tengus might work.

Or Onyx/Broadswork

Tengu's work, the other 2 not so much. But tengu with links in system is not a bad idea
