Why do renters plan my exit strategy?

I didn't even know I needed one.....

It's always been my experience that when the sky is falling, you should do the exact opposite of the crowd.

In other words, the renters that don't run away will become the new null overlords. Maybe not right away, but it will happen, goddammit!

So.. if these changes do what ccp intends and make large alliances reduce some space and the area's they can operate in at a moments notice, then this would mean the renters could tell the current overload to f off and depending on how stuff is setup they could be on there own and fine.

OFC this might make the current overlord just bring a subcap fleet and move caps via burst jumps and gates so they can burn there renters tot he ground, which would then cause conflict, which then gets people playing.. which.. hey wait I think this will make null no longer stagnate.. who would of figured.

If you look into how many jumps you will have to make and the route you will have to take... and the time involved on top of placing your capital in a very vulnerable state.. the OP is offering very good advice.

A friend showed me his route (14 jumps after patch vs only 4 before).

You better be where you want to be because you aren't going anywhere when the changes apply.
