Do you think god really helps Tim Tebow? I know he makes me want to be better at everything. He sure has been very vocal about this beliefs but i think he needs to lighten up a bit.

I have more space likes than you.

I don't see why people give such a **** what tebow believes. Really failing to understand why one mans beliefs keep making such sports news.

I'm not religious but I could care less that the mans prays at games etc. So long as he doesnt come to my door like a jacked up Jehovahs witness ready to bean a ball at my head for not accepting "the lord" into my life... Meh.

Let me answer you with a different question.
Do you think Darth Vader's twin sister helped Tim Tebow ?

First question: Who is this "god" character I keep hearing about? I've never seen him before...
Second question: Who is this "Tim Tebow" character? Something to do with handegg?

Telling Time Tebow to "lighten up" would probably result in him ascending into heaven. Which would be bad for the Broncos, so please don't do that.

Besides, it's not God helping Tim Tebow, it's Jesus. Because Jesus was all about helping the meek and the poor, such as the Broncos.

If the Bible is true.. God seems more likely to punish and mess with people rather than give anyone a divine helping hand.

Look at religious history concerning God prior to Jesus.. what an egotistical vengeful monster God is portray'd to be, quite honestly. Jesus was playing the Zeus card.. with a poltical kind of twist.. get the 'voters' on his side by kissing babys and washing feet.. free wine for everybody! Preach no hate, can't hate your opposition and look like a hypocrit, hence Jesus's words. Why does no one point out this angle! Not that I believe, I still think the Bible is childrens stories to promote moral obligations.. just the whole myth has a subdued 'democracy' agenda woven in its fabric the more you consider it from a different angle.

So the better question than yours, OP.. is why does God dislike Marion Barber?

Besides.. Tim Tebow will be President of the world one day, and we'll finally have uncovered the real Anti-christ. Yeah.. I said it, Tebow is the future Anti-Christ! You can't make that stuff up.

Hmm good questions brought up... Also why didn't god choose to smote brady's ACL earlier? And why has A rod not been attacked by locusts?

His faith has been blown way out of proportion due to the way the Bronco's have been winning games.

Yes, he's a positive guy and extremely athletic, but he's just not a high caliber player worthy of being a franchise quarterback.

If they do manage to beat New England in the same ridicoulous way, I'll eat my words.

And even he admits God has nothing to do with it.

Extremely athletic.. eh. I suppose so. High caliber.. eh.

If you don't believe NFL analysts, then maybe trust me.. his mechanics are an absolute mess. I mean.. a serious f'in mess. I want to rip my eyes out sometimes watching him.. take vast majority of NFL QBs to him and its like comparing Ken Griffey Jr's swing to a blind kid swinging a bat for the second time. Vince Young and Rivers deliveries are weird.. but Tebows mechanics are flawed in so many ways. It is astounding he completes any ball past 20 yards and doesn't have more floaters inbetween 1-19 yds that don't get picked off. He takes too long too.. which is another thing that puzzles me on him not getting picked off more. Not being sacked a ton with his 'too many moving parts' delivery I chalk up to his good awareness and mobility.

he certainly has something.. and it isn't the norm. The blueprint QB is confident to the point of arrogant, yet knowing their flaws, acknowledging mistakes, and correcting them. They have that it presense on the team.. Payton, Brady, Rodgers fit this mold. Tebow has.. it.. but it's different. I don't know how to explain it quite yet.

The way they keep winning over and over in the fashion they do.. miracles are not frequent.. so what word describs this, divine? One thing that needs to be pointed out.. if he didn't suck so bad for 3 quarters, they wouldn't have to keep coming back and leaning on their defense.. hence making this 'miracles' having a chance to exist in the first place. Also.. they do chew up the clock, they wear down defenses.. so their WRs that don't do **** for 3 quarters are fresher than the D tackling Tebow and Mcgahee all game long prior to 4th. Tebow's cardio might be a notch above NFL average too.

Oh god in heaven Chick Tracts. Those would be hilarious if they were produced in satire. Alas, they are terrifying as they are produced in stupid.

You know we could be thinking about this the wrong way entirely... It's not god...it's Satan. He sold his soul to the devil to give him unholy Skills at winning games!

The problem is that it is hypocritical. You do not see him point up to the heavens when he fumbles the ball or the opponent fumbles the ball. The people that make these actions in public are very selective with the actions that they choose to give praise for.

Quite honestly I find the act appalling as it says that God helped them succeed. It takes all the power out of human action and also says that since God helped one succeed God, by default, actively causes someone else to fail. Not really what he "believes" I would dare to wager. Sayings like, "I would not be successful with out the divine hand of God" are just a load of shite in my opinion, that being said I am all for the hypocrits and the weak minded making themselves known ASAP.

Also, IBTL.
