Adding in the planet types available in the system (for PI) would be very nice.

Seems straightforward and useful. Noted in suggestions list.

I'm currently in the middle of a major overhaul to accommodate low/null systems. Planets could be one of the first new features once it's done.

The overhaul has been finished - calculations now run right in your browser.

But more importantly, Carebearium now lists both lowsec and hisec systems!

Would be nice if you could add npc nullsec and negative security levels

Null is going to happen. It's not as simple as I'd like it to be (mainly getting information about stations), but it's going to happen.

Bump: nullsec is now in, along with sovereignty status and jumpdrive distance calculations!

Wow really nice now, maybe you could add a minimum # of jumps to a system, in case one would want to stay away from it?

Could just be a minimum slider on the "Within X jumps of"

I'd like to introduce my latest creation, Carebearium.

It's a solar system finder tool, aimed at those wishing to find a suitable home for their PvE characters.

Carebearium allows you to find solar systems by:

  • Industrial indices;
  • Distance to trade hubs / other solar systems;
  • Asteroid belt concentration;
  • Presence of agents of your liking;
  • Player activity;
  • And more!

No logins, no API keys, no payments, only the data you need.

So go ahead, give Carebearium a try!

I like the site, very useful since I am a returing player getting into mining. Only thing that I found missing that would be nice, would to have a home button. I found that using the about button took me to the home menu, but that was after I clicked on everything else.

Otherwise a very good and useful webpage.

More functionality added today - moons and planets. You can now filter by total moons / planets in a system, as well as specific kinds of planets.

Also some smaller improvements: minimum distances for gate / jump drive travel are back in, you can filter by multiple values in region / owner filters, and cloning has been added to station services filter.

has anyone ever told you how awesome you are?

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

"I really need a new boat," I thought to myself.

If you like the app, consider donating ISK. The less I have to carebear for myself, the more work gets done on Carebearium :)

A new release:

  • Every filter can now be reversed to match only the systems that DON'T meet specified criteria. For example, a security filter matching 0.1 - 0.4 systems reversed would match -1.0 - 0.0 and 0.5 - 1.0 systems.
  • Added filtering by distance to closest system of particular security status (high / low / nullsec). Handy to find those JF transfer points.
  • As a result of previous item, there's now a 'System feature' -> 'Hisec island' filter. Use that to find those secluded islands, or reverse it to exclude them.

With release of Phoebe, Carebearium waves goodbye to reverse engineering indices and related filters. Everything else seems to be in order for the new expansion.

Really great tool! kudos

Any chance there could be a way to search planets by the POCO tax amount? Just curious

As far as I know you can currently query the API only for tax rates of POCOs owned by your corporation, so that's not something I can add at the moment.

Instead, I can bring you a general update of the project.

  • In broad strokes, the next planned features: solar system detailed view, neighbouring system details and (limited) historical view.
  • I'm preparing to move the site from Heroku to a dedicated server - the current plus planned features have outgrown what Heroku supports at reasonable price point.
  • Some university projects are due early december, so I'm prioritising that. Oh, and work.

The above means the next meaningful new features will coincide with my next batch of free-ish time: christmas.

So i checked the page to look for planet. It's a great tool!

One suggestion from my check:
For PI it would be great if you could sort also by numbers of planets of a certain type in a system.
