API Data For Compressed Ore

Hey guys, I'm looking for a site that has reliable API price data for compressed ores on a google spreadsheet. I use http://eve-marketdata.com/ for my uncompressed ores and its always correct and has prices for every type of ore I have on my spreadsheet.

However, when I used the API's from marketdata, only a few of the listed ores show prices. There is allot of missing data even though I have all of the correct data provided for the API to work.

So does anyone know why these API's do not work correctly with compressed ore and where I can find some that work?

I, too, would like to know this.

I built a uesless spreadsheet that just shows 0 for half of the values as the API is pulling in 0s.

In my mining simulator spreadsheet I pull buy price data for compressed ores for jita only from eve central since the market for compressed ores is pretty inconsistant anywhere else. Could that explain why you are getting a lot of zeros?

I've tried for jita only (using station id instead of region id) and i get the same issue.

When you write API, i guess you are referring to the eve-central market statistic? i think the problem you are seeing is because there have been no market data upload for your region or station yet.
You can help eve-central by automatically upload market statistic when you browse the ingame eve market, by installing the EVE Central Market Uploader

If you're using Eve Market Like the OP - that's probably why. I switched to Eve Central for my compressed ore calculations and it's significantly better. Like already mentioned though, I had to limit it to Jita since it's to sparse anywhere else.

Been having the same issue for a while, mostly becuase compressed ore hasn't been commonly sold in stations (as far as i can tell). We should, shortly, be able to get reliable data.

Until then, do as I do, multiply by 100, then add a mark-up you think will work/sell.

based on the expected return from refining, you can reverse-engineer the expected price. tack a small profit margin onto that, and you now know the optimal cost of that ore. dead simple to do in a spreadsheet, and useful for knowing what price to buy at.
