Hunting gets harder when you upship. You are more susceptible to getting ganked because you are slower and you have a harder time catching your prey for the same reason. Regardless of the ship you use, the best way to get fights is to engage ppl who think they have the upperhand or to catch ppl by surprise.

Yeah, it's pretty boss imo. I used to get all wide-eyed when I'd watch the PVP vids from MyEVE. Now all I see is the Fleet list at the bottom of the guy's screen, and the zillion isk Officer fittings and think, "Oh, this again... yawn."

"Solo" PVPing w/ a T3 Link alt is the EVE equivalent of a Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals game. Fun to watch, but eh...

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

Now with t2 links giving even more bonuses to t3 alt ships your playstyle is going to become even more rare.

It seems CCP wants to sell accounts by making the use of a boosting alt imperative.
