That is actually some really impressive FA OFF flying!
I switch mine on and off to out maneuver other players in real PVP, I wonder how he would fair?

He is pretty good, especially considering the fact that he is actively handicapping his accuracy by always flying in FA OFF. He has traded blows with some of the best of them (at least the best we see in youtube videos).

Beta 2 landed with a LOT of bugs. They are currently working on a 2.01, its probably coming today.

Well I'm glad they left me hanging on til 3am so I could look at a black screen!
I guess that's me out of the asp race or discovering anything new this beta. Sucks.

More I see of E:D the more I think it and a new Saitek X52 (to replace one long since given away since I don't sim anymore) may be in my immediate future.

Must admit, I am keeping a close eye on this. Though I do wonder. How Elite: Dangerous is going to cope with a load of old Eve vets hitting their space lanes with our couldn't care less attttude ((chuckles))

It's not gonna pull people from EVE.... It's a space SIM and EVE is a space MMO, it is literally a different gaming genre.

Also pre-purchase is £35 (you get all the Beta backer extras minus the actual Beta), I wouldn't bother with the Beta now because release is quarter four and the Beta 2.0 that has just been released is unplayable for most. Shocked

Please do join, no one has tried to kill me unlawfully yet, in-fact I was flying round security space with a large bounty on my head and the PVP-Averse elite crowd (which seems to be the majority) wouldn't even shoot at me! Cry

I got a chance to play a little ED at my friends house on a three monitor set up. Its pretty damn impressive. Then he hooked it up to an occuls rift and I was completely blown away. This game was made for the occuls, it changes everything. Now I just a few hundred bucks for a occuls and a full flight Sim joy stick.
