Definitely the latter.

We should be able to save and deploy saved PI layouts including product routing. There is no good reason for us to have to drop the same resource extraction layout manually and considering the layout system wouldn't have to be changed for this to be added it shouldn't be programmatically difficult.

Grouping weapons while docked you can already do: drag weapons on top of eachother while holding shift in the fitting screen.
However, an indication that this is possible wouldn't hurt.

Automatically switch asteroids/ice to next locked target while mining and re-start the laser/miner/harvester. You could couple that with a hard limit of only two asteroids/ice allowed to be targeted at once.

If not I want an option to set a LOUD repeated alarm when the asteroid runs out.

A window.....I can cloak a ship the size of a large city. I can fly faster than the speed of light and I can be do about anything. But no.... there is no window in my station to see if someone is sitting at the undock.

Not that it really matters. will undock anyway. But really? Are windows hard?
