Not particularly impressed by the new nebulas

I've been through a C2 a C3 and a C4 so far, and I have to say, I'm less then impressed. Compared to the K-space nebulas, these ones seem to be washed out, boring, lacking in character, and same-ish. I already miss the old nebulas. They had much more colour and character to them. They really made it feel like you were in some strange area of space. Now it just feels like everywhere else.

They can't all be as "unique" as your face.

Its fairly similar to before but one side has a smoother less blocky/low res look, its nice to see some changes but I'd have liked to see it go a bit further than more or less smoothing out the ones already existing.

The nebula background is new and cool, but the new WH effect is REALLY cool looking IMHO. Distracting even....

My C5 has gone boring and pink... Half the reason I moved in was the view. Guess I'll just close EVE and have my desktop background set to one of the screenshots from before.

They're so-so.

C5 looks far less threatening, C4 far less disagreeably cat-vomit-coloured, and the C3/2 changes mean peering in at the neublae from outside a WH makes them all look like a Null WH leading to somewhere in the north.

Overall, seems like they've gone for a less gassy/unreal look. We actually have black starfields in our space now.

Logged in, first impression was "oh wow, new nebula!"

I then looked around my ship expecting an awesome effect but actually found that it looked incredibly bland and boring (C2). Everything is grey, just like in a C3 of before! I can understand that time and effort went into them but surely a little colour couldn't have been so hard? Why get rid of the distinctive colours of each WH?

Found a C5 tonight, was darn near blinded because of the amount of light from it was so bad I had to wear sunglasses to seeRollRollRollRollRoll.

To be honest i hated the c4 for a long time, but now that its gone... i kinda miss it. I agree that it feels to have kind of lost the unique feeling it used to have.

It used to be that you would go into a C5 and feel a little intimidated. Now I feel like we live in Space Pony Land, can we get some rainbows as well?

C3, 4 and 6 are all good, especially C4 is a massive improvement. Unfortunately C1,2 and 5 are much worse and lost their unique character. Combined with the fact that C1-3 all look the same, this was not very successful.

Wormholes, on the other hand, are just gorgeous and I seemed to be drawn into just looking at them :D

Isn't it amazing that, after all the complaints from the Hyperion fallout, we have no feedback threads about the new wormhole visual changes? Some might say that CCP didn't want players to have a voice about their changes anymore.

Now, that said, the absolutely gorgeous C1 I moved into with the aqua and teal nebula that flowed into green areas and much more blue sections has been replaced with... a silvery white Caldari space cloud. It's all on one side of the C1, no more "every direction I look in, it's a whole new visual!" wonderment, just either dark and bland, are silvery white and bland. If I wanted my WH to look like I just undocked from Jita, I'd have played a Caldari character and lived in PVE-land with the rest of the Drake pilots.

I'm betting we get no say in having the visuals for our WHs wrecked, on top of the entrances and exits screwed with, and now it seems they are monkeying with the sleepers without telling anyone...

I've only seen our C5 so far and i agree that it pales in comparison to what is found in high sec.
