Except the normal course of things is that the gankers kill their target, then the lame people jump on the killmail and shoot a ship that's going to die anyway, having accomplished it's entire reason for existing. Killing the ganker before their target dies would result in a failed gank. If your rules for this contest had excluded kills where more than 10% of the damage was from NPCs I'd have happily donated a prize or two.

I seriously don't understand your beef with NPCs damage. This can even be Rats and stuff as well. Or in lowsec, gate guns. Part of good PvP strategy when in a inferior ship is to use the environment to your advantage.

I speak for the people that lost a ship due to not understanding game mechanics. If you feel your Venture was lost due to the Code, or anyone that lost a hull due to EvE players participating in this event please send me the kill mail via eve mail and after my board approves the mail, you will most likely receive a ISK reimbursement to comp it*.

This is a get the players to try again program. My program is funded via personal Plex. I have done this in the past when I felt the cause to retain subscriptions is needed I accept all venture loses for review.

All comments and concerns can be eve mailed to me.

I lost my venture due to trying to brawl with an interceptor while very drunk.
I am very sad now.
I am also very sober now.
I think fixing one of these things will fix the other.

Never fly sober!

Well perhaps sometimes. when i fly my loki..Oh wait last time i wasn't sober and hadn't updated my clone. Also 2 lucky escapes from gate camps.

But really battle ventures are cheap as nails. Fly then while not legally allowed to drive sounds like a great idea.

Great idea and I fully support it. There's no need to trash talk other people who may be running similar contests when announcing your own, however. Take the high road.

Anyway, wonderful to see more fun contests open to anyone in New Eden and more great examples of emergent gameplay and player created content!

Yep, I made a armor and a shield variant of the battle venture, not sure how many people used them though.

Yea I saw a few being used close to the end. I assume for warp core strength.

Still RL stuff here. That is good news, the prizes stay the same, but because i am too busy to promote the competition, there will be less entrants. Easier to win something nice.

Where did that month go! Well its technically over. However i have lots of RL stuff, so i am giving myself a relaxed "find the winners" phase.

I will post a "score board" up some time later in the week (I hope). I will then wait for people to either complain they are not on it, or for any other corrections. Then it will be finalized and winners contacted directly.

Note that even though work is crazy right now an i hardly even login enough to train skills i still check my evemail frequently. So any concerns just drop me a line.
