Why is that ships have different warp speeds, however in at 150 AU fleet warp, theres not 1 single ship traveling faster than the others??

Right, you forgot that.

Because of the Fleetwarp. It forces all ships to the warpspeed of the slowest!

Works as desinged

Its a feature not a bug!

In fleet warps, everyone warps at the slowest ship's warp speed. It's by design.

If you want to warp at different speeds, warp separately.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

because otherwise you idiots would land on field in small batches, that would sure make waiting enemies happy.

Hope that helps Bear

Right

Seem's to be a nerd rage post, posted by a 12yr old child. So ill speak slowly

Your name / You post topic / Your attitude

Are disgusting

In fleet warp as it has been SINCE 2003 you stupid little child, the fleet once alined warp's as slow as the slowest ship, each ship individually can obviously warp faster than others due to SIZE and MASS

Anyone who did primary school maths could have answered this post

You are nothing more than an attention seeking bratt who probably lives at home with his mother with no job, on state handouts, slamming a company that is worth millions because you are to stupid to come up with a decent game and the fact you are so ******** that you cant even understand basic mass + movements = mass peed which then squares into quantum co - which is what eve is based on

Effectivley shortend

Its Fleet Telemetry my dear Watson.

Fleet command sends out the comm singal for a fleet warp and the nav systems begin the handshaking and agreement to sychonize with the warp tunnel with the slowest ship as its most stable and least stressful to maintain in such larger formations where multiple gravity tunnels band over into each other increasing fleet wide stress.
Now to push the slumps of newton compensators on the slowest ship to match the higher ships would result in... well it aint pretty. Sure there have been naval upgrades in the past but thats a hardware upgrade in the compensators as usual.

Eitehr way its been pertty standard naval conduct for over 300 years and military hardhacks have that drilled into every one of thier skulls as thier naval SOP.

Very astute explanation, I thank you for that.

But now relies the wondering of if the warp speed can be controlled in someway, why not manually?

Why would you want to manually warp slower if you're on your own, every ship obviously has an upper limit to warp speed so you wouldn't be able to increase your speed only slow it down :)

To be in warp, ergo unscannable, for a longer time inbetween bouncing safes. If you could warp at, say, 1,000 km/s, you could save your ship at any moment by just warping somewhere, as even a 1 AU long warp would give you half an hour to call for help and/or wait for the hostiles to leave and/or lose aggression and log off.

Its a subconcious routine, just like power to shields and your capacitor are, it just happens in an unthinking manner.

This one adavantage of a normal ship where the emotion and state of mind of the captain doesnt effect the ships performance severly. Where with pod pilots its everything how the ship behaves for the ship become the body of the pod pilot. Though a pod captain even in the most deranged state is ever more dangerous than the competent space captain.

Damage Registers as pain. Shield Boosting could be considered euphoric or unplesant, turning on a hardener could give that uncomfortable itchy feeling with no way to scratch it.

What we have here in this OP is an example (for your study) of what we're beginning to see in epidemic proportions across the vast landscape of Western Civilization - someone who thinks because they have a "brain" (using this term loosely) whatever that organ regurgitates can be assumed to be valid and logically irrefutable.

What makes this interesting if studying these creatures in the wild is how outraged they are when they flunk English, for instance. Their cry is similiar to, "I don't need no English in the real wurld!"

We would have one stuffed and mounted for museum viewing but there's some sort of legal technicality about bagging them. We're working on that.

Uhhm ships with extreme warp speeds accelerate and decelerate equally slow to real slow ship.

from 5km/s to full warp speed, this effect cancels the usefulness of fast warp rigs. It starts to count in 260 AU systems only. I used to have an inty with 19 au/sec warp speed, in smaller (32 AU) systems it was equally fast to a regular inty with 13.5 au/sec.

CCP make AU speed count towards acceleration and braking. Save us extra seconds of our short lived lives.

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again
