I have done a lot of missions and have gathered a lot of slaves
I was wondering if there was a way to ''set them free''

if not ccp should think about adding this feature. sounds fun to me

Yeah, let's waste dev time on something so remotely useless that anything you can think about is time spent more useful.

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

That's a rather unsympathetic attitude for an upstanding Gallente citizen!

You surprise me, J'Poll – I would have expected a more imaginative response from you.

Slaves are part of EVE lore. Other aspects of that lore are featured in game play, so why not slaves?

ISK can be earned from most other forms of loot drop, so why not from slaves?

The Minmatar government could have a Slave Emancipation Bureau that operates throughout all of New Eden except, obviously, the Amarr Empire (or possibly even there in clandestine form). The Bureau would pay a bounty for all slaves brought to them to be freed. To ensure legality this would obviously involve much research into the history and origins of the slaves, which would be an expensive undertaking for the Bureau that would eat into the amount of bounty payable. To offset this, and thus gain higher bounty payouts, capsuleers could obtain the expertise to do this part of the process themselves by training a 'Slave Emancipation' skill.

You know most EVE players care very little for lore. Based on your idea we should also allow the slaver hounds to be released on slaves.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post

When the advertising campaign says "be the villain", it's not kidding around.

But seriously, the game code treats slaves as just another market commodity. Probably the closest thing you can do to "setting them free" is to trash the commodities, and tell yourself you're just disposing of their chains and/or ID tags, or something else that'll help you sleep at night.

(In EVE lore, a lot of the ordinary people of New Eden look upon capsuleers as monsters. And looking closely, they may have a point.)

Upstanding? I'm a half-insane, drunk privateer with a -9.7 security rating and am currently contracted by the Minmatar Republic to actively kill anyone in the Amarrian and Caldari naval fleets.

You should also see how I get crews for my ships! Twisted

Take them on a trip they will never again experience in their lives... in a frigate... in the middle of a low-sec warzone. Twisted

If you are about to get caught in a gate-camp... you can always tell them that they are about to see their last "tourist trap." Ever. Lol

I see no parallel whatsoever.

I'm talking about extending the usefulness and profitability of a game commodity, which is perfectly feasible.

You're talking about making game commodities interact with each other, which doesn't sound at all feasible to me, let alone profitable.

Take them out in a shuttle and hit the self-destruct.

They won't be slaves to anyone anymore.

I have been in the Tribal Liberation Force for 7 months. Though i have taken time off from them, I have protocol to deal with them. If you want, ill take them off your hands and deal with them appropriatly.

From the ashes of our defeat, we will be reborn. With these chains with which we are bound, we will become indivisible. To those who showed us no mercy, we will give no sympathy. For the flames that burn our cities, we will douse in injustice's blood
