I completely missed any mention that the shuttles where going to be messed with, despite reading almost every dev blog abotu the winter expansion. I want my orange gallente shuttles back! You took my favorite shuttles and made me pissed off every time I look at them. and yes, I know they are just shuttles, but they are my shuttles, and I enjoyed them... Interbus shuttles are not a suitable replacement, and they are yellow instead of that nice understated orange color in addition to being an extremely expensive hangar queen.

You obviously can't read the patch notes, either.

•All Gallente State sub-capital ships have had their shaders updated to the V3 shader set.
•The Apocalypse and Impairor have had their shaders updated to the V3 shader set.
•Four new battlecruisers, designed to inflict massive damage at the expense of survivability, have been released. Each of the four main factions has a new ship that will bring devastation everywhere it goes. The details of these new ships are as follows:

I'm pretty sure a shuttle counts as a sub-capital ship.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Yea, they nerfed a shuttle. It actually was the most popular because of the color. It used to be a shiny, bright, sporty orange. It was toned down in the graphics upgrade. Now it’s so dull it blends into a Gallente station… kind sad.

If you ask me, the new Gallente color scheme is too dull for a vibrant race.

Strict uniformity and Gallente don't seem to go together either.

I can read. Shader upgrades do not fall under the category of new skins or textures... try again smartass

Then, next time, say what you mean.

Is not the same as "I didn't know the shuttle was having its texture changed.".

I agree that i kinda liked my little nubian taxis as well, lol. Oh well, i'll have to learn to like this new one. Who knows, maybe they will bring it back in costum paint jobs for ships later... Costum paint jobs would be so awesome!! And it would be a really nice isk sink since, NPC corps could offer it in their stations (of course, it would have to be offered in player stations as well).

Maybe if this idea gets enough support, CCP would surely work on it. It could even bring a lot of new player to whom the idea of costumizing ships appearance appeal to. They could sell costum designs for a profit. :)

Anyway, sorry for going a bit too off topic here.

That's a shame, I think that was the last yellow gallente non-t2 ship. The vexor used to be yellow as well, and looked much better for it.

I still can't believe they nerfed a shuttle.

The banter back and forth after the nerf of a shuttle, now that doesn't surprise me.

You bitching about a nerf to the color of a shuttle, but you completely glossed over the patch notes of two other very interesting things

- Destroyers got a buff
- Implants show on a killmail

So keep on complaining about the new paint job of a useless item that should be removed from game next to Hulks/Retrievers (Fact: Entire point of those ships is to just die, not like a Titan getting nerfed down to make it easier means a Hulk couldn't get a buff up to make it a little more harder), I am more concerned about not wrapping a condom thin excuse of a ship around my pod when I want to go places anymore. 1 Smartbomb cruiser or tag team of destroyers will ruin your day should you decide to AFK travel in a lol-shuttle when you might of considered a cruiser with a thick ass buffer thats more difficult to take down (meaning, some people won't even bother you because it would be more annoying to do so unless they really, really, really want to)

I agree with the OP.

I always went with a Gallente shuttle if I had the choice and really enjoyed how it looked. Now it is just blah like the rest.

Most annoying part is that there still is a yellow/metal gallente shuttle, the new interbus shuttle. Same as there is an awesome police skin for the navy comet but us players get the camo comet.
So if they just wanted to they could probably change the shuttle and comet skins in a couple of minutes.
