ISD Ezwal locked my isboxer thread and told me to post in the already open thread on the topic. I have searched for this thread and it doesn't exist.

He said this - "As a courtesy to other forum users, please search to see if there is a thread already open on the topic you wish to discuss. If so, please place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forums needlessly, causing good feedback and ideas to be lost. Please keep discussions regarding a topic to a single thread"

There is no open thread on isboxer. Therefore I request my thread be unlocked.

Oh, this happens anytime anyone posts anything other than happy talk on GD.

Just because a thread has been discussed in the past, and was subsequently locked, it means new players have no business discussing or learning about these issues through forum participation.

ISD Ezwal believes a new player could not possibly have anything interesting to say or share on the topic. He's bored because he's seen it before, and thus, nobody else should be allowed to interact or discuss.

Examples:
AFK Cloaking
New Order/James315/Erotica1
Ganking
Bonus Room Antics
Frequent crashing due to crappy net-code.
CCP's new out-of-game flying emotional enforcement squad, for TS and the like.
Dust

As a general rule, because new potential customers don't want to see negative comments on the forum, so they generally get locked and/or deleted. Only posts that make CCP look good are allowed here.

There is a pack of no-life fanboy trolls here that destroy any thread that doesn't toe this line, and provide the ISD with the necessary pre-condition to lock the thread due to their rule-breaking behavior, which may or may not have anything to do with the OP's post.

For better luck, try posting about how excited you are about an upcoming EVE feature.
Or say nice things about the ISD Staff or DEV member. They'll chime in on those.
You get the drift.

don't worry the OP found it. I think this thread is moot now.

I agree with the above posters synopsis on how discussion between dev's and players works. If you are angry about something and try to vent about it on general discussion you will be locked. There is no where for you to post negative feedback where it can be discussed.

I'm curious if the ISD's who's job it is to seek out these disgruntled customer problems ever actually get to learn what is wrong with the game.

The problem isn't negative posts. The problem is people thinking they're special snowflakes who don't have to abide by the rules. They post rants on the forum and make thread after thread about the same issue, usually even when there already exists an official feedback thread about an issue. They can't accept the fact people don't want to have the forum polluted by their venting and spam. If you have an issue about a feature, post in the proper feedback thread. CCP will read it, consider it and make their choice. If you have a problem with moderation, raise the issue with the community team. If you just want to vent and pour your bad feels on the forums or make a new thread about a dead horse issue, accept the fact your post is worthless and will get locked. It really isn't that hard and most people seem to manage it just fine.
