Main account struck down in a tantrum - yet he remains highly active and supportive within the Eve Community. If anything, he has more impact on the EVE now than he ever did while playing as 'Erotica1'.

Some people would become discouraged and bitter and simply fade away. Not Ero1. Since his banning:

Ripard Teg unceremoniously removed himself from the gene pool, his name a dirty word.
He somehow continues to contribute billions of ISK to CODE coffers. An amazing achievement.
Incredible exposure and visibility for CODE. Such notoriety simply cannot be bought.
His martyrdom has further unified a subtype of strong-minded independent Eve player that is notoriously hard to organize.

My future predictions:

-Eventually CCP will go the 'kugutsumen' route and add his name to the censor filter. Barring that, simply insta-locking any thread referring to him or his unique contribution to EVE. Petty? Yes, but remember: We are dealing with a class of people that evidently find joy in 'winning - in the smallest possible ways'.

-The Ero1 affair will be remembered as the day CCP really crossed the 'Rubicon'.....the day their staff abandoned the old enlightened 'let it ride' attitude, and finally embraced tin-pot tyranny, a capricious enforcement of undefined rules, and sowed the seeds of their own financial destruction and unemployment.

-Forum trolls such as Solstice Projects' many alts, Doc Fury, and La Rynx will **** up/derail this thread like so many others, and that rule-breaking activity will be used as an convenient excuse to lock the thread.

-Obama will continue to be an abject ***** until he is ejected from office in 2016.

Also: All US Presidents are "ejected" when their term has completed, earlier if they are impeached or resign.
