A Note About CCP Guard

Eh, move it to another forum if necesary, just wanted to point something out.

CCP, you lose some devs because your pay isnt at a competitive level, while a dedicated fan of the company may overlook this, that combined with the location of your company makes other paths look more prosperous.

Now this isnt your fault, and im not arguing about it, but fact is youve lost alot of devs to places they perceive as "greener pastures".

What you should be worried about is CCP Guard, good lord make sure the man earns more than competitive pay, get him a big house with like, a bunch of busty maids, because if you lose HIM to riot, eve is gonna die and LoL will kill Dota.

Not even kidding, at this point, CCP Guard is a significantly large chunk of CCP's remaining heart and soul, aswell as the literal mascot of EVE, right next to fedos.

I don't even know what to say about this.

Though if they start paying CCP devs in busty maids I may have to rethink my idea of equitable compensation.

Paying people more does not always motivate them to stay in their current position. I took a pay cut to move to this position because I was tired of working 80 hour weeks at my last one - I decided I wanted to get home in time to see my kids once in a while.

Altho my mum wants a Guard Calendar now and would probably also try to attend. I offered to 1v1 her but she won't roll an account.

In all honesty, I think management keep him in a cage somewhere and only unleash him when they need some goodwill. Which is fine. They could give him a stool to stand on for the avatar tho.

If you guys are concerned about devs paycheck go on ans start nagging CCP to start selling SP for cash (god forbid for plex, the botlords would be extremely happy). And you will make all the newbros very happy.

I volunteer everyone else's subs to be doubled (but mine, naturally, will remain the same) in order to compensate the CCP staff with the proper amount of busty maidens. Also, I think the female side of the house deserves some consideration as well. Do consult with them and get them what they wish. It's on "us".
