Launcher in Offline Mode

I tried searching for the answer but I cannot find anything.

Eve's been working great except for a DC here and there. However when I open the launcher today it's only in offline mode.

I'm obviously connected to the internet and even one of CCP's servers. (The Forum)

I've rebooted, rebooted my modem/router, and ran the repair tool. Nothings working.

Anyone else have this issue? Or fix this issue themselves?

Same here.
Had an update to the eve launcher (now v2.1.655130) and the launcher is now perpetually in offline mode.

Also having the same issue. I have tried starting the launcher directly from eve.exe and from the launcher directory, no difference. I ran the repair tool once normally and there was no change, I have tried running the repair tool as administrator based on some very old threads, and as admin it fails:

I am running Windows 8.1, and it worked fine about 12 hours ago

EDIT: It is now working for some reason, I have made no more changes since my last failed attempt

Hey man I don't know much about looking into log files..

But I ended up on a whim deleting the launcher folder, shortcut, and starting the repair tool. Worked first try. I've reloaded on alts and whatnot closing the launcher to test, works fine.

Good luck hope it works for you.

I had this same problem.

from what I could from the launcher log decipher, it failed to create a https connection to get the win_launcherinfo file and then defaulted to "your internet must be broken, here's the offline launcher". I couldn't figure out why since I could manually with a browser retrieve it. Also made sure my f-secure wasn't blocking. Mind you I could yesterday evening get the launcher to work properly after the launcher patch.

Workaround confirmed that deleting the launcher folder (or rename it if you're timid) and then running repair works.

Sorry no logs since they went the way of the old launcher folder.

Ran into the same issue with the launcher being offline, downloaded the new launcher and now it's even more broken. All I get is the outline of the launcher and a white page in the middle.

I celebrated a little too soon. I got several disconnects after the initial fix. I repaired and that fixed the dc problem so far. However, I cannot access the New Eden Store even though the launcher is working. Please help. Thanks.

As outlined in my previous message, I had already downloaded and installed EVE Online Launcher 826897, what I posted was the result.

After I ran the repair tool, my launcher was still broken but ran the previously downloaded installer again and this time it got fixed.
