Suggestion: A not so static mechanic

Since I feel pretty tired of wh space at all, I had some thoughts on how to shake up wh space.
So, keeping in mind the majority is asking for more content - and the biggest issue preventing that being the control over the static, making it very easy for a group to call it home and endless farming ground.
The word static pretty much says what this mechanic is going to support - being static.
Isn't that pretty boring? And if I got it right CCP had the idea to change that? Well, it did not happen ;D

So why not change static to dynamic?

1. Each wh system gets one(or more?) dynamic connection(s) which leads to a random system(randomness being influenced on the base class and probably other factors?).
For example:
A C1 has a high chance to get a highsec exit, but can also lead to c2 or ls.
A C6, the so called dangerous space, has a low to zero chance to get a hs exit but will be connected to other dangerous space pretty much - including null.
This may change with every cycle or on a weekly basis probably.

2. Every wormhole getting a random mass and max jump mass which ranges from no capital jump at all to several caps before collapsing. Mass info could be gathered ingame by a probe or other ****.

3. System resources changing over time. This including site spawn, PI resources and ore. Maybe being random not so much here but more depending on how much the system is being farmed.

I think we have static and controlled space in null pretty much and wh space should not be like that.
We keep an economic and manageable amount of random spawning wormholes ofc.
There's no argument being not able to reach k-space these days!

I also would like more unknown and randomness stuff in wormholes but the reality is that there is too many PvEers that lives in WH. You see me coming : if it's too dangerous they will leave wich means less content.

Although, I like your point #3 the randomness of ressources. Would be nice to see uniqueness in every WH system, introducing new ressources and changing effect?! over time.

I don't see how this effect would actually be attractive for most players, since such a high degree of randomness certainly makes for more novelty of experience, but would make concerted, intentional operations much more difficult. Anyone living in a system like that would have a tremendously difficult time operating.

Maybe introduce a single system or two per class that was this crazy, but not alot more. I think it would be a novelty more than anything.

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.

Random is bad, the allure of w-space is from the danger and mystery of not knowing what's out there beyond the next hole.

Its simple and works as is, adding convoluted randomness to the mix will do nothing but frustrate and irritate people.

Most of the players I have spoken with lately seem to be just hanging in WH's hoping for improvements. I am sure this would push lots of players out. More content is the right answer, how to get there is widely and hotly debated. Personally I like the idea of having a static. We as a corp picked a null static that tends to trend around the outer edges of the map. We did this to reduce traffic specifically. There has been some discussion of moving to a C4 from our C3 however for now there is NO incentive to get into a C4 since its really just more of the same old S*** with slightly more difficult sigs. If ccp would rebalance the content by making it more dynamic and more rewarding, more care bears would be tempted out of their PI pos shields. That would generate content. Get folks busy making things in W space that gives pvpers a betters shot at indy guys. Everone wins.

I am NOT crazy they made me take my medication this morning!

Have people already forgotten what happened last time they "shook things up"? Have I been gone that long? My body is not ready for round two.

When people say wormholes need "More content", they want CCP to add something new that enriches their experience. Tedious variations of what we already have is not "content" imo.

I would like to add that "more content" doesn't simply mean making things harder simply for the sake of making them more complicated. But basically what Rek says.

Randomness for randomness sake just = tedium

None of these suggestions would make W-space more exciting or shake things up, only more difficult and unbalanced.
