You sound like a perfect fit for Faction Warfare. Want to do frigs, starting a new character, its a new area where you have little experience....There are a lot of decent FW training corps that can help you on a much more focused level. When you get into pvp you'll find you like particular methods more than others, such as kiting vs brawling, drones vs launchers and what not. You'll find what you like to do and then can start forming your skill plan with that. It'd be pretty silly to train for arty thrashers when you like to bum rush your target.

not knowing what you plan on flying i can't create a skill que to help you out
