I need some help with people who are new to the EVE GD forum

They are old friends of mine who i have decided to give this game a go, but they cannot believe the casual abuse handed out on this forum. I have told them that internet abuse is not the same as real life abuse and that all insults are downgraded and just need translating.


I am trying to make a a list of terms and words that they can refer to when they encounter abuse on these forums and really on the internet in general. I have a few, but i was hoping that you could add the ones that you know



1. You are an idiot = Im not sure that we hold the same views on this matter sir

2. Your ideas are terrible and so are you = Your proposed changes do not suit my gameplay style and so would not be beneficial to me.

3. Die in a fire = I personally believe that you are either making flippent remarks on the subject or you need to conduct more research on this topic.

4. Did your mother drop you on your head when you were a baby = You need to understand and accept my argument over your own.

5. CCP why are you so fail = If you could just change these few things as it would really suit my gameplay.

6. Working as intended = This has no effect on my gameplay i hope you dont mind if i say that.

7. shift+enter idiot = i know its not great but please learn by example and just do this everytime you post. That way you wont be shouting at the screen or your wife and kids.

8. Silence Pubbie = We are a group of like minded people who came into this game through a shared internet portal. We kinda like doing our own thing.

9. NRDS is for idiots just like you. = That is a lot of hard work and can go really wrong if you encounter new gankers. Look at what happened to CVA

10 so STFU = I do believe that you are wrong in your conclusions and could potentinally affect my gameplay if implemented.

11. You Goons are nothing but a bunch of lonely neckbeards hiding in your parents basements =??????????????????????


I have barely touched the surface of the GD insult range so if you could provide translations i would be very grateful

My advice would be not to read these crappy forums and to look at blogs and subscribe to podcasts instead.

The forums are a game recommended for immature audiences.
Parental supervision is advised for persons generating over 15 tears.

Maybe these friends are dora the explorer and bob the builder, look forward to ninjaing their mission wrecks.

I assume this is purely a troll or an attempt at humor, but in the event that it is not:

Have them look at my post history and let them marvel at my brilliance, my prescience, my conciseness and my directness. Then let them observe the multitude of instances in which the asshats, window-lickers and fanbois (a little redundant, sorry) froth at the mouth and spin their heads in response to the truth, bluntness and ******-obliteration I bring to any discussion.

On EVE forums you will be hated on if you are brilliant or if you are incredibly stupid. Convince your friends that the former is true of them and they'll be happy.

True, no one should read these forums. Do not let your friends, if they truly are such, encounter such a tragic fate.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!
