Hello market MD!

It's been awhile since I have posted, especially asking you for your time and more importantly your isk. I appreciate you in taking the time to read this. If you have any questions or concerns voice them here instead of via mail for all to see.

I've recently started up my trading operations again. This time, with a much wider, and passive approach. It has been so effective I want to double my operation size.

Overview of Operations

Currently I have two trader characters, they don't leave the station. I update them 2-3 times a day, buying things low and selling high.

Profits running both of them bring in an average of 572m per day.

My current NAV - 28.4b

I have recently decided to expand on this, buying two characters from the bazaar with 269 orders a piece.

Proof Here

I am going to make their homes in two different hubs in New Eden and continue doing as I am doing now, station trading. However if I find any items that may bring a decent margin in, I will buy from one of the major hubs, which I am already trading at, and pay to have them shipped via 3rd party there to sell.

There will be no risk of losing any assets whatsoever.

Why do I need 8 billion isk from you?

From buying these characters I spent 7b of my liquid isk. As you station traders know, typically we have most of our isk tied up in escrow and sell orders. I am no different. Buying these characters has used up roughly 60% of my liquid isk, while my current two traders are fine with what they have, the two I have purchased need some start up funds. And that is where you come in.

I will be using these funds to expand in each of those new trader's markets. The influx of 8b would have them up and running as effectively as one can when first entering a market. It will take a week or so to build up the sell orders, but regardless my two other traders will be perfectly able to cover this loan themselves if it takes longer than expected. Or in the extremely rare chance they can't turn a profit.

Details of the Loan

Loan requested in the amount of 8 billion isk.

There will be no collateral.

Length of loan will be 2 months to allow me more than ample time to gather the funds without shorting any of my traders.

Interest will be in the amount of 10% monthly. I am all ears for counter offers if you feel that is not sufficient.

To make things easier on me I have decided on 4 bonds at 1 billion isk each.

API KEY

I am not necessarily interested in giving out an API key, I can give you access to the 3rd party tool I use to calculate profits after taxes and fees if that suffices.

IF YOU WANT AN API KEY you must be willing to fill the 4 billion yourself, as I do not want what I trade in being open to multiple people.

Reservation

I have reserved half of the loan (4 billion) to my previous investor. He was absolutely great to work with, and we have kept in touch since the loan was completed.

You had me up to here although my experience in station trading had me wondering if you know what you're getting into.....

If you can arrange collateral I might be interested in kick starting your operations. Without it, we're talking about a donation, not a loan. That's just how this game works, I'm afraid. Any appeal to trust in EVE (like linking "proof here") is a 100% guaranteed sign of a scam.

After reading your first thread I'll stump up 1b if you can get the other 3b raised in this thread.

Experiences will definitely vary in market PvP, however if you can figure out what works and what doesn't, you'll find it's extremely profitable.

Unfortunately for us both though, there will be no collateral.

It's funny you should say this is a guaranteed scam, because that's what a lot of people said back in my previous loan when MD was much more active. It turned out to be very profitable for my investor, and myself.

I do appreciate at least a response to my posting though, I'm glad I had something to come home to after work!

I appreciate your backing Genoir, hopefully with a little more time this bond will fill. MD is pretty stale these days. Ugh

I will update the OP with your reservation. Thanks for your time.

Yo!

It doesn't take much effort to figure out who the "previous investor" was ;)

But yeah, I'll cover half of this amount, so 4 billion without collateral.

Jerex has done well for himself since the last loan and I trust him with this amount.

After a conversation with Vanchelon I'm now willing to cover the remaining 2b of this bond, taking my investment up to a total of 3b.

Let me know when you want the isk transferred

I wrote the thread right before bed, it seemed more official, I don't know! Haha

Thanks for the backing Vanchelon, looks like I couldn't of filled it without your support man.

Genior, thanks for upping your initial investment, you can send isk whenever you are ready to.

I will post again with the interest payment schedule once I have received isk from everyone.

Really? Nobody find it the least bit suspect that Vanchelon seems to have returned to the forum just in time to reinvest in this guy, after not posting for like 9 months? Certainly seems to me that the previous loan was likely a faked up rep build and now he's fronting half of this one to make people feel more secure. I guess we'll see if he cashes out on this one or goes for an even bigger score.

He asked me in-game upon his return, and asked me what I thought about his plans. I'm not a big eve poster (been around since 2004 and I got 28 likes, see the connection?). If I post about EVE, I do so on reddit.

Believe what you will I suppose...

Also, are you really suggesting that me and Jerex is the same person? Oh dear...
Edit again: One of his characters also joined BNI, further proof of my involvement amirite?

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Certainly reads like faked up rep to me bro, that's all I'm saying. You invested originally pretty quickly having not appeared to have invested in any prior loans. Constant back and forth between you and him to drum up rep. Once the loan is paid off, a big break then he's back asking for more. You fill half and encourage others to fill the other half. I imagine this one will go without issue too, since 4b seems like a low payout, then next time round it'll be like a 20b, with you filling say 5b and vouching for him. This leaves him as a scammer and you looking like a victim of said scam rather than a beneficiary.

I've seen thinner tinfoil turn out to be right.

So... if I speak up for him or for myself, I incriminate myself. If I stay silent, I incriminate myself? :) Funny how that works.

The reason I helped him out the first time, was cause I took pity on him to be honest. I enjoy helping people in EVE, perhaps I am a rarity. 2b, 4b means nothing to me, so at worst I would feel naive if he scammed me the first time.

My point exactly, it won't matter what I say ;)

Just because EVE is full of assholes, doesn't mean everyone is one, nor as cynical as you.

In any case, you have clearly made up your mind about this whole thing, so it's not like I'll convince you otherwise.

It works that way because you've already incriminated yourself. The guilty do tend to protest more than the innocent though.

So out of the at least hundreds of people asking for a loan throughout history, this guy someone managed to win you over in like 4 hours, then nobody further has managed to do the same since. And you can't see why that is suspect?

Vanchelon wrote:

There's cynicism and then there's realism. The reality is that EVE is a game filled with scams, and questioning things that seem out of place is the norm. This whole transaction looks out of place. It well and truly stand out like a way to boost up the rep of an alt to cash in on uncollaterlised loans while making yourself look like one of the victims so you won't be implicated.

Vanchelon wrote:

Nope, you probably won't. And people have already invested, so if this one is the cash out, it's too late for that to change. I'd certainly say it's a question worth consideration if he does another request in the future though.
