Now implement scene editor so we could add ships and configure their flight paths and shooting so we could make our own screensavers :)

Feels a lot smoother in this build.
Not that my frames are better, but it feels more smooth.
But I'm still sitting at the 3-6 FPS :P

Any chance that there will come a version with lower texture qualities?

Does this overwrite the old directory or something, or do we need to manually clean after the last one?

No cleanup needed, just install and run.

Got more jumpiness this time and when it says "Running" after the simulation is that the system uploading the information?

Does each build only allow one run of the simulation or is that a bug that needs to be fixed.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Hey it's me again, it's still not working for me on my Win 8.1 laptop. I did check the running processes after pressing "start" this time and there was actually an instance of CPP Exefile running. When I ended the task (it was using the exact same amount of resources as the launcher) the "running" changed back into "start" on the launcher. So I reckon it did something along the lines of what fork() does, but didn't manage to get into the right path.

I'll be happy to help with anything to get it working. I think there was another guy in the previous thread who had the same issue on Win 8.1.

I know you maybe cannot answer this but im gonna through it out just for the sake of it.

Is there anything special cider does to eve-probe that Wine does not? Since you said eve-probe works inhouse on cider.

I cannot get eve-probe work without it doing nothing other than showing "running" and looking at logs it seems to crash when it wants to detect the hardware.

Would be awesome to actually test with reproducible events on Wine other than my graphs in stations =)

Both those applications are translator services. Because EVE relies on using the libraries that are foundational to windows itself, there are two things you can do. Rewrite the game for another platform, or use a program like wine or cider to make life a bit easier.

Essentially they have cider support since those programs aren't guaranteed to do their job out of the box.

Yes I know, thats why im asking because if you look on the Linux forums here we are trying to get it working on Linux via Wine but crashes inside their python code.

Well i would assume there is nothing special. It's called cider support for a reason. :P

CCP doesn't develop for cider, they use it so you probably couldn't get a specific answer for that without involving the people who actively work on it.
