And where do you see more interaction from player to planet?
Only the destroy thing forces you to replace stuff, al the others just happens when player ain't even on line, is mining/missionning/scanning/PVP-ing or what ever.
You visit your planets to restart extracting and picking up ur T0/T1/T2/T3 stuff and look strange T0 stuff i normally don't extract or more or less then I expected.
Sell the unwanted stuff and go further with ur game. But I see no PI increase?

Or do you mean such things should (only) happen when player is doing stuff on his planet? You can eventually see what is going on (wrong/ good/bad/funny) but what is there for player to do to stop wrong/bad things or get longer/more good/funny ongoings?

I personaly like the idea. It doesn't add more interaction per say but does allow the player to watch and work with his/her colonies more often due to the random events.

Also it may be nice to add a skill set to increase or decrease random events. Kinda like how you can place outpost upgrades to increase wormholes to plop down in the system. As far as a skill set, it would be to use the new items to change events.

Maybe adding a system where planets have like agents to work with. Maybe have a small market on the planet to avoid taxes (even though the taxes aren't terrible if you moving small amounts here and there) or just to simply be able to sell your materials automatically. Also having agents could add events where protestors or something is blocking areas on the planet from colonies. This would make it more interactive by forcing the player to change his colony constantly and having to work around the day to day changes of the planet.

I have more ideas, but typing this on a cell isn't very effective Straight

Or make it more task full. You wanna open up your Customs office and a pop up pops up : first do this or that mission (ur most likely in a hauler) so pick up this or that/bring stuff to xxx.

the idea was to more to have thing happen that can be ignored, but if they are acted on, you get some sort of benifit. Kind of hard to explain what I was meaning, will do another post after work tonight with a better explanation of what I was meaning
