Dreadnaughts these days

I can fly a Gallente Moros. But I need about just under four months to qualify/train forSiege Warfar link II, large hyrid weapons and the last dreadnauht skill space skill. (So about April... Ugh.)

That said, I have a big to-do list on my intercepter/exploration skills, so I want to know if a dread even matters anymore? Do corps out there need those pilots actively? Are major flee and PoS battle out there or is that a thing of the past? I would love to get in to some large fleet fights...

Thanks,

Oh, and as Billy the Kid once joked /draw "l'll make ya' famous." :)

With CCP's refocus towards ships instead of avatars, Id say any ship thats been ****** for awhile would be good to train for due to the possibility of becoming pretty good and wanted. And if youre done around april, you'll be a bit early for the summer exspansion that *could* have balances for Dreads.

Course, if could all be waste if they dont get attention =P

Dreads (and the Moros in particular) got a decent boost via the T1 and T2 siege module links, am not seeing many dreads out and about at present, but will only be a matter of time. That sov isn't gonna take itself :)

I got a char training up for the Moros as well

Take a moros into a worm hole and you'll get plenty of love. Dreads have been used for pve and pvp in WHs for a while now. With the recent changes the moros became even better for WH work. The double damage bonus makes dread 5 a worthy target for the moros as well which is what I have training on my alt atm.

Personally the only way I'd hop into a nag is if it were given to me by a Corp or an alliance. They are too expensive to get one shotted by a Titan. I don't want that grief.

Love my dreads :)
Theyre excellent for WH pvp and pve.

always remember: kspace doesnt count.

Also worth remembering that SC's got kicked in the nuts this release in two ways: 1) HP and drone nerf 2) no more logoffski to escape. This means that they will either die more or by used less. Meaning Dreads will be used more where they can because of their lower cost and newly found dps levels.

Pretty important to carry long range ammo in addition to short range stuff too, x-large blasters can go from 20km to 80 just fine with long range ammo (handy for shooting a scap trying to escape a bubble)

Moros in a WH sounds interesting - any suggestions for fitting / tactics ? (as i´ve never flown a Dread before ..)
