They using them for PVE or PVP?
PVE dreads should always be armour. It's not particularly close either.

Shield or armour wouldn't have made much odds against that amount of neuting.

Also: I've heard that shield PVE dreads can be a thing, but I've only ever ran sites in magnetars where armor dreads with scripted TC's are important to my fits. Am I wrong? Maybe. But it FEELS right.

if all their dreads had correctly refit to a 'vs subs' fit and started burning apart

the fight would have gone VERY differently


also if your some scrubby wh bear corp that only uses your dreads for bearing and if you get ganked don't even want to put up a fight: then yeah, i can see you using armor

But with the bookmarking at 0 on the waves method you can pretty much 1 cycle with as few as 4 dreads and 1 loki, there's no excuse for a group like adhoc to be running such horrific dreadnaughts
