Finding Fleets - any channel?

Hey,

I'm just wondering if there is a channel where I could join and see if there is any fleet and as for an invite?
I'm bored very often and I wouldn't mind some pewpew in lowsec.

Join the channel "Spectre Fleet" (without the quotes)

It's a public NPSI community, there's stuff going on at pretty much all hours.

Join channels :

-RvB Ganked
-Spectre Fleet
-REDEMPTION ROAD

and read the MOTD's (for further info)
p.much all day fleets and sometimes FC gives free prefitted ships out

Also keep an Eye in IN-Game events forum, you may find new groups to pvp with

I don't know how much experience you have, but if you're venturing into lowsec PvP for the first time, I recommend the State War Academy Roaming Militia's channel (seen in the video linked below) which organizes newbie friendly lowsec PvP fleets with fitting advices, reimbursements etc... so newbie-friendly that one of their FCs shows how to join the channel at the beginning of this video. Blink(attention: the channel's name includes less-than/greater-than signs which is not supported in the forums. again, see that video for the correct name)

There are also channels like Spectre Fleet, RvB Ganked, which organize larger fleets.

Be the change you want to see in Highsec.

Confirming NPSI is the way to go.

What's your timezone OP?

There are a couple of channels not mentioned yet, but their standing fleets are timezone dependent.

RR is not mine, I just support them.

Usually they leave from Berta / Stacmon (see MotD in channel / Mailing list) and roam null, kind of like Ganked's little sister.

The Redemption Road public fleets are a weekly thing organised by Affirmative Alliance. The in game channel helps with supporting those fleets, but the website is probably more helpful in answering that question:

PS I was especially impressed with the shuttle in Amamake. Nice kill.
The stationary objects looked rather challenging as well!

NPSI = "Not Purple, Shoot It." in other words, while in those fleets anyone NOT in the fleet is a valid target. Now if a blue happens to run into your fleet ,you have the option of simply not shooting so you dont get on the killmail and get in trouble ;) Some corps tho will even honor the NPSI themselves. The founder of Spectre fleet has been killed by the fleet a few times :D


If you can fly a stealth bomber or a recon, there's also Bombers Bar, one of the original NPSI channels. It had died out for a while but it's founder is back and they're running fleets every day at different times. Spectre fleet is more eclectic and has several doctrine fits as well as doing kitchen sink fleets.

How come no one has mentioned Sir Squeebles pubbie fleets yet?! Good tiems! Best NPSI fleets in my opinion.
Also make sure you're stocked up on beer for maximum enjoyment!

I joined those channels mentioned, today was a part of the Spectre Fleet and have to say it was pretty awesome, especially since it's a public fleet and I didn't really imagine much, but it was way over what I've expected to be honest :D

Why not just list them with their TZ's ?? If there are any regular fleet before DT I would be interested, and before anyone shouts out.. hey mates roams do it.. well they form before DT and move out after...

... What next ??
