Hello, capsuleers large and small.
In my few months of playing EVE, I must say this is the best MMO out there for me. It makes me feel so empowered over my environment. It makes me feel free, strong, mighty and proud of what I do, whether it's murdering an asteroid in cold blood or just poking a stick at some dumb rats. I am strongly impressed by the fact that ships can be really enormous, and believe me, after seeing a Carrier with my own eyes I was stunned by the sheer size of it. But I've heard that Titans are five times larger than a Carrier (Leviathan, 16 km long axis). Sadly, I have never seen a Titan with my own eyes. I have heard that these beasts are very costly and that they take more than a year to properly train and fit accordingly. I think the biggest ship that I'll ever fly will be a Chimera... maybe :)
I have learned many things the hard way... many times I was scammed, griefed, ganked, podded and other mishaps. But there was many a time where I would buy myself a new toy and I would hop around rejoicing of my shiny ship. I have made some happy, I have disappointed others, I made a few folks smile in delight and I caused others to grin in disapproval. I ranted, I flamed, I cried and I laughed, I smiled and I frowned along my corp mates. I bought implants and drugs, I purchased dog tags and all, and I had good times and bad days.
Now, the time has come. A new school year rises, and it is time for me to give the ultimate exam, the decisive piece of paper that will dictate my destiny. Sadly, I see myself forced to leave this wonderful, beautiful game. But fear not, a year passes quite quickly, and I hope that we will see each other again, mates. Now I go down the road of knowledge, to study and beat this menacing test that threatens me with such insolence.
Next year, I hope I'll be able to return to this game with a PLEX. I don't enjoy mining, because rocks don't shoot back. So hopefully, with some cash I could buy myself some bigger guns. Goodbye, Goons. Goodbye, N2. Farewell, shady drug dealers from Jita. Take care, Mr. Gankster. Have fun in high-sec, carebears. Stay safe, corp mates.

And fly on, everybody!

Seems you really like the game and it's not a question of money in first case for you? If so you're about to make a big mistake, keep your sub running and the training queue active, you won't regret it.

CCP recognize that during the course of gameplay a lot of friendships are made between players and that sometimes if a player is taking a break or departing from the EVE universe that they would like to say goodbye on the forums. Posts of this nature are only permitted on the Out of Pod Experience forum, and must be civil and well worded.

Sorry to see you go. Be well, and we look forward to your return!

o7 Robert.

If you need anyone to care for your stuff in your absense, I'm more than happy to keep trying to murder stuff with it, so its warmed up and ready to go when you come back.
