Unless you are in some CCP loving corp (where they have their alts) you will only get "sorry for the inconvenience".[/quote]

which is enough.

I dare you to make a game half as good and half as stable as EvE, and I pay double to price to join it.

I think the saddest part about this issue is the fact that ...
... when I checked the last time, it said 39k+ accounts logged in.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

For stability pick any MMO(the EVE is the only one that goes down daily at least once). About being good, if you consider how many times CCP breaks the game, once again, pick any MMO (and check wormhole forums for the latest f*ckup), but if you would like to consider overall quality (the game only, not support , gm's and devs) EVE is still the only choice.

I see your point.

I started playing online games on BBS systems in the 1990's (or was it late 80's ? It was using dial-up line) when few people knew what www was.
Counting everything from 'Tradewars' (*) to 'EvE' , I completely agree with "if you would like to consider overall quality EVE is still the only choice"

I rarely contact support, but when I did they were helpful. I met plenty of devs and GM's IRL at fanfests.
Believe me, they are normal (euh, well, sort of) peeps who want eve back online asap as soon as it goes down.
Just like we all want.

edit:
(*) (c)? and credit to Chris Sherrick (although released in 1984 with a free license, credits added to make sure I don't violate any laws)

I don't think that I expressed myself correctly, they want the server up ASAP for many reasons (in the last "crash" even one of GM's had a problem and was hopping to not lose his ship), my point was to show that they don't care of what happened to people that are not blue with their alts. All the times that I've contacted support I had to wait for really long times (once i was stuck in wh entrance, and the answer for the ticket came 2 weeks later).

I think that any anger aimed at CCP over the problems the past few weeks needs directing at BT in the UK. The stability of their service around London recently has been disgusting.

Connection issues and sever lag is still an issue to multiple people i'm in contact with. You might want to investigate further.

Why BT?

IIRC, CCP's hosting partner is L3 Communications.

I have been experiencing random Socket closed messages with the drop of my client.

My friends are experiencing this also, but it is interesting because it sometimes will drop one client but not the other.

Very disconcerting since I live in a WH and often times a disconnect while either pve or pvping is certain death.

You have proof of what you are saying, of course, if not I would think that you are pulling those opinions up from your ass. Roll

I'm always on the side were you can see "we are sorry for the inconvenience", so for the bad side I can talk (I obviously can't copy the messages from there as this is not allowed (why oh why wouldn't they allow their costumers to copy their sh*tty responses from the tickets?)). On the other hand check out people who say that they have never had a problem with support.

On the other note, check out the mass-distance change in wormholes, the only thing that they repost is "thanks for your feedback continue writing" and as nothing is being done(or even mentioned) you can see how much CCP cares.
