I really don't want to derail this thread, but that is a **** poor excuse you have. Seen it used in other threads to a degree too. Anyone can hop in a frigate and get to the action or staging area if they want to. You can get into one of the fast warping interceptors, slap on two cheap warp speed rigs and get that little bastard up to 19.44 au/s. That is fast! Damn fast gate to gate traveling.

Now you may get to the event and be killed or killed on the way there, but it is pretty easy to get from one side of the galaxy to the other. The only real obstacle you have to overcome is you apparent lack of effort your willing to dedicate to the event.

He said he goes back to shooting primaries. Do you think it's reasonable for people in a fleet engagement to just drop everything so they can go fight a (most likely) far less important battle.

Try to engage your brain before farting out some gaseous response next time.

Counter to the loot fest...and would make it a damn interesting time..

Treat the CCP wrecks as belonging to everyone and no-one...giving aggro to anyone that loots them and thus letting anyone shoot them as well....endless chain of massacre.

1. I live in the ass end of Nullsec, getting to highsec is a royal pain, let alone paying attention enough to avoid wartargets from the near constant wardecs from people wanting our logistics crew to cry.

2. I know tone doesn't translate well into text, but I WAS JOKING. I love that CCP is bringing back live events. Even if I can't participate due to other obligations (as my comment alluded to i.e. fleet operations), I get to read about them and they add to the richness of the game.

3. As my friend Spanky (I can call you Spanky, right, either way) said, breaking off in the middle of a fleet op is considered poor form in some circles, and tends to be difficult due to the mechanics of Nullsec.

4. I really like numbered lists.

5. A bubble will drag that very fast interceptor (a class which I can't actually fly) 100km off the gate quite quickly, ready to be killed.

6. There is no 6

7. I've never actually figured out where the staging areas were announced, but then I never really tried because it's not worth the massive effort to extract myself from my current nullsec home to go fight Piñata fleets, when I can hop on my alt and play hotdrop-the-ratter for even bigger Piñatas.

8. Eight is a long list.
