My scar is a burn that I got while visiting a Caldari Station when a rouge Gallente General flew his ship into it and killed thousands. I barley got out but I left the scars on this clone as a reminder. Later I got the Tatoo so now I have my "good side" and my "pretty side".

Tell me about your scar(s).

My scar is not on my face but across my chest.

I was 11 when a group of insurgents invaded my familys plantation and started an uprising. They found very little traction among the servants of my family so decided to resort to desperate tactics. They sent a small group of men to abduct me as to ransom me off for the freedom of some of my family's slaves.

My personal attendant and slave came to my rescue by dispatching my would be abductors. However his blow was a bit too mighty for the man who was carrying me off and his blade went clean though him and into my chest, stopping just before my vitals.

My family has always believed in a very high standard of care for their slaves which undoubtedly saved my life that day. My servant took me to a nearby medical facility for the slaves where I received the treatment I needed. Had my family been mistreating their servant the revolt would have be much larger, and a medical facility fatally far away.

My scar reminds me why to always treat people with respect. A lesson that I am rewarded when I remember and punished frequently when I forget.

I have a scar on my face not visible in this still shot. The scar was received in hand to hand combat with a Caldari wannabe industrialist. He had illegally purchased me from an Amarrian holder of less than noble character. Upon docking at a Caldari station I attacked him; he grabbed a data pad wand and stabbed me in the face. The wand hit my cheek bone. As he pulled back, the wand ripped through the flesh on my face. I hurled him against the bulkhead and he lost consciousness. He was given over to Republic authorities after we "changed course" and arrived there. When I became a capsuleer, I had the scar programmed into my clones so that I would always be reminded of the cost of liberty.

The Scars......not only is my face scarred, but so is the left part off my chest and leg. It happened during a contract i had taken with a mercenary gang berfore i decided to become a capsuleer. It was in some backwater system on the Caldari/Gallente border. Easy job and fast money they said, go in get target and get out fast. Turned out it was anything but easy, somehow the target had gotten wind of what was going down and had prepared accordingly.

It was a tough and ugly firefight, cramped corridores and open supply yards, they where constructing some sort off industrial complex. It was in one of the supply yards it happened, some off the squad had advanced abit to fast while me and two other men where trying to catch up when the enemy did a counterattack. A stray gunburst hit some stored fuel cells which exploded and we where abit too close.

The left part off my armor failed because off the blast. I was taken off my feet and tossed some meters through the air and landed again. The pain was horrible, im gonna die i remeber i was thinking before i passed out because off the pain. The guys who where with me wherent as lucky. When i gained consciousness again i was in a hospital bed with burn wounds and some broken bones Captain sent me a message through GALnet saying the job barely succeded and someone had dragged me to safety behind a bulkhead. When i got released from the hospital i decided to sign up for capsuleer training and carry the scars with me.

Every clone i have is etched with patterns of the scars i got that day as a reminder off how close i was to death and to remind myself......

Never fall behind again.

Boarding Action during a border skirmish with Caldari state patrol ships, back before the war.

What happens when two patrols come out of warp on top of each other at almost the same time? Spaceship pinball and a lot of panic. Blaster fire and rockets got cooking, and Caldari marines attempted a boarding action. At this point, Xander had completed his capsule conditioning program and was completing his active tour on a live vessel prior to capsule implant integration.

Xander sustained minor injuries during the fighting, the most notable being a nasty gash just above his left eye from an antipersonnel fragmentation grenade, the narrow corridors channeling the blast (and subsequent shrapnel) into his team.

When his DNA was sequenced for the cloning process some weeks later, Xander opted to not have the scar fixed, leaving himself a little reminder of mortality before taking the plunge into what could well be eternal life as a capsuleer.

My Scar tells a tail of betrayal and lust for power. I was the CEO of a well established pirate corp that played a leading roll in the alliance we helped build. But not all was well and good in my corp. Two of my directors who were seeking power made a pact against me and one night as i slept they stole the corp shares. These were men i had trusted and treated with favor and they betrayed me. When i demanded my position back they refused and when my alliance leader would not help me i was forced to take action. I engaged my two directors in my chimera class carrier. The fight was a cake walk until my alliance leader warped in with his Thanatos class carrier and began repping my directors. By this time i had gotten word that my alliance leader had contacted his friend who had a titan within jump range. So i was forced to do the only thing i could. I self destructed. My scar tells a tail of when friend betrayed friend and how a proud man was brought to its knees.

I generally try to conceal my scars, there are several various places on my body from my time building starships (dangerous work no matter where you are), the most noticeable one is on my face however, still hidden by my hair though. I received it while serving on board a Scorpion class battleship, the Kurozencho, in the alliance wars as a flight officer. We were deep in enemy territory, we believed we had escaped a hunting party that had been after us for several systems, the commander had turned the ship to silent mode while in a dead space pocket far from any orbital bodies. But we were scanned down somehow, their ships hit us when we were most vulnerable, the commander had unplugged from the ship and was on the bridge, she barely saved my life during the mayhem. So close to death the best option was for me to undergo nanite therapy, and to prevent any future danger of death, my commander paid for my capsuleer indoctrination.
