Black screen and driver crash after every stargate jump!!!

Hi,

Everytime I jump through a stargate, I get a black screen for a couple of seconds and a message that traslates in:

-The display drivers 'Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers' crashed and then recovered.

My spec is:

Easynote LJ75 (notebook)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core i3330M 2.13Mh 3MB 4GB DDR3
Intel(R) HD Graphics (driver 8.15.10.2993)

I have the game set to use Directx 9, graphic card 3D settings to:

Texture Quality: Performance
Anisotropic Filtering: 2x
Vertex Processing: Enable Software Processing
Vertical Sync: On

Ingame graphic settings are all set to minimum, effects turned off...

I would like to play with my two accounts but this makes it impossible.

Is there a fix for this? Sad

I have the same problem.

The issue is in the compatibility of eve with Intel HD cards. The two just don't play well together. As far as I know there is no known workaround other than what you've already tried.

I've had this problem for 2 years, tried all sorts of different Intel drivers old & new. Have submitted bug reports to no avail. even stopped playing Eve for a year to see if client updates will fix it (also to no avail). I unsubbed my other 5 accounts & they have remained unsubbed while the problem exists.

Once this account runs out of sub; I will be off Eve for sometime or at least till I can buy a laptop with nVidia (CCP sponsored) hardware.

Or get my desktop machine (nVidia 6800m) back from Norway :(
