What it says on the tin, any character can be recycled rather than just biomassed.

All skill points are then redeemable by another character on the account. All skill books would need to be bought to reallocate etc.

Imagine the carnage Shocked

CCP could make a decent load of cash through all the PLEX consumed by character trading and recycling Big smile

Would you be tempted to roll a couple of characters into one über badass mofo ??

You are dumb and this is dumb.

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

I guess I wouldn't be 100% opposed to this as long as there was a stiff SP penalty introduced. It has its ups and downs.

Edit - It would be unpopular I know but you could reduce the number of preowned characters running around marauding as the original owner and it would provide an ISK sink and an SP sink.

I'd personally be able to create a 170mill sp character but it wouldn't be able to do anything that I couldn't do on complimentary characters at the minute. It would be a good way of making new anonymous characters to replace older ones with unfortunate history etc.

Now I wonder if we could actually see characters that were skilled at everything in game to the max?

You dumb space peasant. This is exactly opposite of what CCP intended and allows.

Do not misunderstand me, I by no means want 300 mil SP chars running around. I am just not opposed to somebody recycling a 15 mil sp char to gain a little headstart and get those core skills out of the way.

Ok, serious response now - your idea of removing old characters from game is definitely a good one, and there'd be some benefit if some s.p. could be retained. How would you draw the line on how much 10% per PLEX up to say 30%?

Just thinking of ways for CCP to make cash without obvious drawbacks??

I would support a recovery percentage based on available SP as to not **** in the veterens cheerios too much. Say if you recycle a 1 mil SP characters you may retain 80% of that SP and if you recycle a 100million SP pilot you retain 30%. You would also need to limit this to avoid one individual stacking too much SP on one char. Basically if you started in 2003 and you have 140million sp nobody should be able to come remotely close to that after using recycled SP.

By some creative means you'd need to maximize the amount applied so that the most a person could come up with is like 30 mil SP or so.

Edit - I'm just kind of throwing numbers out there but I wouldn't support pay2win so much as I would support pay4headstart.

So the alt accounts are recycled into one main account. What compensates for the revenue lost due to that?

I imagine people would still have multiple subscriptions for scouts etc. Just most likely main character on account would have more s.p. as they'll recycle lesser alts onto them?

Having higher skillpoints all in one character is actually worse than having them spread about different characters. I'd end up with a 305m skill point character that would cost a small fortune in clone fees and use hardly any of those skillpoints at any given time.

terrible idea is terrible

why not just ask for "on-demand" name change, plastic surgery and a neural remap

cos that is what you are asking for

Further up the post, I made the same point - I tend to think that this would be used to create anonymity rather than 'I win'.
