Intergalactic Summit

On the 2nd of October I, Daamal Ulaannar, along with several investors and supporters will be launching a new News Corporation called Padesar Uls with a team of experienced Khanid reporters and writers. Our first private publication will be on the same day and our first public publication will occur on the day after.

Mission

Padesar Uls will be a business focused news corporation that seeks to provide insightful information into the various industries and markets of the cluster today as well as offering services to business-minded individuals in the forms of advertising, recruitment, investment advice and more.

Opportunity

There is no widespread business news corporation in the cluster and even some of the most wide reaching broadcasters such as the Scope, Amarr Certified News and Gutter Press focus heavily on the politics going on around us rather than the markets that drive so much of our world. This means that the most CEOs, industrialists and traders are left to trawl through Galnet, access regional supplements or just go without useful insight. While business thrives, this disconnect and lack of information means that the industry of the cluster operates with one eye closed.

Padesar Uls will shed light upon the markets and industries of empire space and beyond, allowing for better planning by everyone from entrepreneurs just starting up to the captains of industry. No longer will the state of niche markets remain a mystery to everyone but those deeply committed and involved. Rather time, energy and ISK will be saved by being able to look up the Padesar Uls analysis and digest to bring yourself up to date and keep yourself informed.

Sustainability

Padesar Uls will charge a moderate subscription fee for a monthly ISK subscription with full publications of news coming every two weeks. A free, preview version providing basic access to services but not complete insight will be available on the forum the day after the publication of the full version. We expect that once we break through 10 subscribers, we will make a small profit every month until then, a cash reserve will be used to ensure the survival of the corporation.

Income will be sought through other sources as well. Services will be offered for reasonable fees, these services will include:

• Article publication
• Advertisement to be used for corporations, IPOs or anything the purchaser would like
• Recruitment adverts

Other services may be introduced in the future depending on the opportunity and the success of other services.

Team

Hiring of reporters, researchers and analysts will also be occurring but will not be required for the corporation to run. Padesar Uls will require the utmost commitment and professionalism from its employees and in return will gain a share of the corporate profits after shareholders. I, Daamal Ulaannar, am relatively new to the world of news but have a good business sense and passion in wishing to create a reputable, useful and popular business news source for the cluster. Padesar Uls will be the embodiment of this passion and will be as successful in its market as comparable general news sources.

Investment

I will fund and make this happen myself, but will open the possibility of the sale of shares to those who believe in this venture. Even if you just believe in having an actual regular source of business analysis, a small commitment will give confidence and help get Padesar Uls off the ground. It will be a huge opportunity with very little risk. Further a percentage of the monthly profits will be committed to dividends, with dividends to myself being reinvested into the corporation.

Would mud slinging really be insightful information?

So.... Why would they publish an article with no intent other than saying "Hey! Look how bad this groups doing compared to this one?" Aside from obviously pointing out where money could be made, thus helping the federation... If you want them to publish something to help the Gallante Federation's market, by all means support it

First of all, for educational purposes.
There is too many propaganda going on, that depicts Federation with its ideals not just as 'not bad', but even as good. Luckily, their propaganda lacks facts, and just back references to gallentean morals, according to which their ideals are good. Bad thing, that this propaganda fills all media.

With professional business press like Mr. Ulaannar is organizing, the real facts could be provided that will crash all groundless gallentean propaganda, and will teach peoples of New Eden how the real situation looks like.

Economics is a war as well, Ms. Vess.
You are speaking with liberal point of view of the trade, but they were never aggressive enough in this. I would recommend you to get acquainted with practical point of view on economy and trade relationship.
From practical point of view, good profit for one group comes with loss of another.

Its obvious that Jita is a much stronger market than Dodixie. But pointing out its weaknesses would give traders the ability to exploit it. A smart seller would see this and act accordingly(raising prices or increasing inventory to reflect the trend set). Like you said economics is a type of war. A decent leader can exploit their own weakness to make it a strength.

Traders aren't altruists.
They will make themselves stronger at the expense of federation.

But really, I don't plan it as an economist. I just want an educational and demonstrative material.

Glad to hear it. Currently I'm reasonably set on the subscription cost, including a trial subscription cost.
