Heh. Why should CCP open an office in Barcelona, if they ever opened an office abroad to provide their foreign talent with a more liveable environment than Iceland?

Because my city inspires the most awesome things, performed by the most briliant individuals

I can assess that on that timelapse you're seeing places in my city which are always crowded with people and traffic. Removing them is no joke, and these guys are genius.

If this is a wish list relocation for CCP office list, I´d vote they go to a Commerce Enhanced Treaty Zone here in Panama next to the Canal, called Panama Pacifico which used to be a US Airbase.

The Zone is heaven for big corps due to extremely amicable tax treaties and has an excellent backbone for tech and communications and several big world brands have offices here for these and many other reasons.

If CCP actually wants to save money they should come here Big smile

Panama is simply wonderful for that.

If you guys want to know more I can even hook you up with solid law firms/lawyers here for a small fee Bear

So I vote for Panama !

Cheers! o/

What does that have to do with anything?

Netherlands?

Most people cite the airport being close - Schiphol is superbly connected by all kinds of public transport. You can almost literally walk out of the train and onto the plane.

International connections a-plenty. Rules of international companies are fairly competitive, it shouldn't be hard to get set up. In Amsterdam you're right next to one of the internet nodes in Europe as well. Office space is not very cheap, but not that expensive either. The cable companies don't make it too expensive to lay a dedicated gbit+ glassfibre right to your front door, depending on distance from existing lines. Public transport is pretty ace all across the board, no need for expensive cars, especially if you live in the same city.

Also, the Netherlands has a pretty liberal stance on most issues that could affect employees personally. I'd wager that the Netherlands may be closest in culture to Iceland in a lot of ways, though please correct me if i'm wrong there :)

Labour costs might be somewhat higher than in other countries, but the pros offset it nicely i think. The one real downside is the weather, which is unpredictable at best. We don't really have a full summer, just a week-month where it's suddenly very hot, the rest of the year it's very random.

Edit: Also, plenty of opportunities to revive the ancient kinky parties. ;)

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

It haves to do with the cost of setting up a IT office. Roll
