Omnidirectional Tracking Link for Gecko?

I fly a Rattlesnake in L4s with Geckos, Hornets and Berserkers - Will an Omnidirectional Tracking Link help?

I am running a Rattlesnake rocking Geckos, Hornets and Berserkers. I can field sentry drones but my skill in them is rather low and I will not be using them for a month at lest. Currently I love my fit (the rattlesnake is slow as molasses in January that is my only gripe) but right now I am running an Omnidirectional Tracking Link II in one of my mid slots with a tracking speed script. Is this making a difference for my geckos and my other heavies? I feels that way to me but I was wondering if anyone could illuminate things for me. I know that Omnidirectional Tracking Links are great for sentries but will they help Geckos target cursers and get the occasional lucky hit on a frigate? If not I can dump it and grab a micro jump drive.

It helps a lot, used to fly a Rattle with 2 Omni's and the heavies would even hit the frigs no problem.

Gecko should have an easier job than normal heavy drones.

try faction sentry drones.

a few omnis and a target painter make geckos really effective against mission npc frigs. imo there is no point to hornets or berserkers when you can just launch a gecko from a rattler.
