So for roughly 2 months I've been "studying" the behavior of mission runners. I've collected a lot of data to support my studies, but I'm looking for a little more community interaction and feedback. A few questions:

- How mad do you get when I steal your mission loot?
- How mad do you get when I blow up your MTU(s)?
- How mad do you get when I aggro the whole room on you?

- Is there anything else I could be doing to make you even more mad at me?
- Will you help me test my tank?

Thank you ahead of time for your assistance in my studies. I will be sure to publish my findings as I move forward. Just a quick tip... The worst thing you could possibly do is let a thief get away with his crimes. When you see someone suspect in your mission pocket, please be sure to show him who's boss by exploding him. That will teach him, especially if he's in a frigate.

Thank you for your timely response!

I'm curious as to how you came to your conclusions, because I have raw data (killmails and chatlogs) that swat down your comments like an annoying house fly. Also, I am obviously worthy of your attention as you took the time to contribute to my study.

Vlad is not carebear who is collecting the loot, do mission fast as possible and get onto next because loyalty points is of being worth more

Then Vlad does not bring MTU, space is better used for more bullets

Last is Vlad being happy because enemies get closer to Vlad which brings the death to them quicker as getting in optimal range is 'optimal'

Anyone who is being shoot at you for being stupid is stupid carebear themselves and is asking for getting killed.

In 10 years of playing this game I've tried running missions a few times. Usually after a few days I'd rather breathe asbestos than run another one. If someone killed my mtu or raided my mission site for loot I would probably feel like I deserved it for being bad at EVE.

Here's a few questions for you :

- How mad do you get when Mission Runners 'Blue' their wrecks?
- How mad do you get when Mission Runners blow up their wrecks?
- How mad do you get when Mission Runners warp out causing the whole room to aggro on you?

- Is there anything else Mission Runners can do to make you even more mad at them?
- Will you help the Mission Running Community by answering these questions truthfully?

Just a quick tip... The worst thing a Mission Runner can possibly do when in their Mission fit ship is engage a Mission Invasion Thief.

Best course of action a Mission Runner can do (depending on the status of the mission) is either ignore the Mission Invasion Thief and quickly obtain the Mission Objective or quickly warp out and let the NPC's aggro on the Mission Invasion Thief, especially if he's in a frigate. Usually the problem will be eliminated within a few minutes.

If not, then the next best course of action to do (if the Mission Invasion Thief is flagged as Suspect or Criminal) is to switch into a PvP combat ship, fleet up some friends and warp back into the Mission pocket asap to quickly eliminate the problem.

Do you feel bad for posting in a bad thread?

Lets get back on topic though... Any ideas on what would make missioning even more miserable than it already is?

None of those are actually good deterrents from flipping your mission. While I'm in warp headed to your mission pocket, my alt will already have a warpin for my next mission pocket. I normally bookmark your mission so if you decide to unsuccessfully grief me away, I'll just come back in 5 minutes after you've re-deployed your MTU or warped back from being bad.

Not to mention that if you don't grab your mission item before I do, you lose all that precious standing. :[

I'll entertain your cry for attention...

1. You have never stolen my mission loot. But if you happen to locate me, feel free. All my loot is blued anyway. More isk in blitzing for my style instead of looting.

2. See response above.

3. Full room aggro? I thought that was the only way to run missions...

Now, you can continue trolling.

- Obviously there's no reason to take blue loot. I'll find something else to bother you with.
- What percentage of mission runners do you think blitz with full room aggro?

I'm not trolling or crying for attention. I'm genuinely asking what else can be done to hinder your mission running. If you don't want to give constructive advice, please refrain from posting.

Yes you are, otherwise you would have posted anywhere else but here. C&P, W&T and GD would have all got you constructive answers, posting here is only gonna cause flaming and you knew that.

nah, I have extras I stole from other people PirateBear

that said I was really disappointed how rarely mission thieves showed up when I did a bunch of missions somewhat recently. Haven't seen a thief in ages.

Not mad at all, but you should make a habit of clicking "greed" instead of "need"

Quote:

- How mad do you get when I blow up your MTU(s)?

I'm pretty sure blowing up other players maximum transmission units would be against EULA

Quote:

Enough to vote kick and wait for another pug tank. Although I'd prolly let it slide the first time

After kicking you, getting you in the dungeon finder again.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive, and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

Did you know the tank of a Polaris Centurion can tank just about everything?
