I see no reason to reactivate my mothballed accounts.

I see no new content that rocks my boat, I am not French (thankfully) and the game just continues to stagnate.

When CCP value solo / small corp players who don't have the time or inclination to be an alliance lemming then maybe I will return. Until then CCP / CSM thank you for giving me my life back.

I agree. Just another utter crap expansion.

In their willingness to help new players CCp have ****** up the game beyond everything.

The balancing is ****, the blob has become bigger than ever and all counters to that blob have been removed.

CCp. Red Moon Rising was your last good patch. Everything after that basically ****** up the game.

You sandbox is no more. You created a mudpool and you are too afraid to roll back the changes that messed up the game.

Keep doing what you are doing and more accounts will get mothballed.

Too bad that moeny came before your game content. You had to waste money left, right and center. You forgot to invest in Eve and only listend to those mofo's of the CSM.

Deal with it.

I agree. It's getting, I mean it HAS gotten very sad. Rebalancing is just a phoney name for Nerfing...

Pathetic...

I've gone from 7 accounts down to 2...

It's not that I dislike the patch but I do feel like EvE is becoming a very dated game and these updates aren't going to brighten CCP's financial future.

We have games that allow us to express ourselves much better than 5 years ago when EvE had a bit of an edge in this respect.
We have soooo many games around where we can experience a better level of connection with the things we make.
We have better sounding games.
Better looking games.
Better space games.
Games with incredible levels of customization(156 active Skyrim mods and counting)

Meanwhile CCP can't figure out how to work with their database well enough to have visually different ships with the same name.

Edit: It'd be like looking at your next car purchase and saying.......I'll pick the Neon......it's not spacious, it's not comfortable, it doesn't offer good fuel mileage, it doesn't offer good reliability, or low repair costs, or good ride quality, or good handling or impressive performance....there's no good reason to pick this car, but I'm a Mopar guy. Mopar guys didn't stop Dodge from eating a **** financially and EvE guys can't save CCP. CCP has to offer something impressive eventually or EvE will very slowly die.

CCP has failed to offer anything different for several years. They invested too much in Dust and we know how well that has done and they invested in a CSM that is complicit in Eve's decline by putting their needs and that of their alliances before the greater good of Eve.

I would like to see a road map of what's in the pipeline for the next 12 months to give me some hope but I fear they don't have a clue never mind a road map. Maybe they need to ask the alliances what they want?

The last 2 releases have finished me in Eve and the next release does not give me any hope. Risk v Reward no longer applies in Eve.

So as to your comment about Eve will very slowly die, I think many would agree that Eve is in already in serious decay and that without some major shift in their development plan the future is one of terminal decline. Its all very sad Sad

6 Accounts mothballed.

Well...good that CCP is trying to improve the game.

However: EVE is a complex game. It takes time to learn the features, decide what to do, train skills, and work out some strategy for playing.
If new changes will be produced every 5 or 6 weeks, changes which frequently change the basic mechanics of the game - there is simply no time to catch up with all that and figure out how to play the game.

In addition - if the new releases drastically reduce some abilities, change ship properties, change reprocessing/manufacturing/research etc. - after some time many people simply will get tired of it, as it affects their skill training, income streams, and their competitiveness in the game - for which, let me tell you - they paid with $, time and effort.

Let's not forget that the game is for players. It does not have to be perfect - it just needs to be playable. In a complex game like EVE - certain degree of stability is required. The balance between the need to change and the core of the game needs to be carefully balanced.

Now - feel free to flame me - I am quite new to EVE. But I know at least 6 players, all of them with many years of EVE under their belts - who did not renew their subscriptions - because of constant changes.

YMMV, as usual.

Yes, I agree with many others that Eve has been FAR TOO weighted in favour of large alliances at the expense of everyone else: null sec, CSM, alliance tournaments, sovereignty system, etc. It was one of the big reasons I took a break for a few years.

However, glad to see Eve in French. Is there going to be an enhanced sovereignty mechanism whereby French alliance and corporations can surrender and hand over large chunks of their territories to others?

Can we please not horribly break important parts of the game like it happened in the last few releases this time? Thanks

Agreed....It seems like CCP keeps avoiding the whole issue over and over.

Anything about balancing the POS defenses which are years behind any other ship balancing ?

Not now, but there are plans to re-do the whole POS mechanic in some of the next releases. I'd give them time to really think the changes through before publishing anything.

Corp management and POSes are high on my wanted list as well Smile

Instead of making it prettier, how about fixing your infrastructure. Going on fleets in nul-lsec isn't fun as you spend most of your time in tidi. This is one of the main reasons i've stopped playing, haven't got time to sit in tidi.

Improved wormhole visuals

Perfect, just in time for all of those moving out of wormholes as the changes nerfed it for small groups.

Thanks CCP.
