So if I see this right,
the counter goes up per view per character.

Even if a second character just keeps reloading,
the number doesn't increase.

But how does it work with multiple pages?

Would there be a way to change the system towards
making it possible to easily determine the number of lurkers who do not post?

Information is seriously appreciated.

It's relevant in regards of finding out how many people look,
but don't post in connection to forum trolls who are a very good reason
why lurkers simply lurk... but don't post.
