Just think of how fun the divorce mechanic would be.

If CCP thought the bonus room was bad... just wait til they have family court.

Well.... this is EVE.

Divorce could well be as simple a thing as just..... idk, awoxing.

I would tell you to ignore the inane responses but I believe you already know that.

RP May not be as common as it was in the early days but we are still alive and well. Feel free to contact any of the PIE members in game for a warm greeting. The core PIE corporation is for Amarrian's only however we do have other more lenient branches and also have contacts with other more open corporations.
Fly safe and Amarr victor.

You made use of the word inane yet you were vague in providing any form of substance to back up why your statement has any credibility.

I love role players who think their form, or ideals of role play is superior to other forms of role playing.

Absent anything to back up your assertion, please enlighten us as to why your opinion of other responses being "inane" should be taken at face value?

Failure to do so and one must salute you for endeavouring to pass opinion on "super serious" role playing, but ultimately empty posting.

My reference was to posts made regarding the "death" of RP and general insults to RP'ers. Perhaps you should first determine whether your own response is valid before lashing out.

You made use of the words "lashing out".
I merely made suggestive comments based on observations and asked for clarification.
At no point were any of my words overly critical or accusational.
Assuming i'm not playing on words and you consent, i'll whip you if you want?

I see that there is some support for it here (dedicated forum and recruitment filters for it). I played on an RP-PvP server in WoW and we found that RP drove a lot of the WPvP (WPvP was a neglected concept, but RP-PvPers drove it on select servers for the fun of it).

Some of the WPvP was spontaneous, while others were more structured (e.g., a scenario developed with equitable numbers on each side).

I am curious if the RP corps operate in a similar manner here and have they chiseled out a specific area to conduct story-based/scenario warfare against each other.

I also heard that EVE has some rich lore/great books. Any recommended reading/resources that you can direct me too?

What is this forum you speak of? And lore? For what? Do you mean history?

Most lowsec banter I read has some flavor of RP in them (gallente-caldari, minmatar-amarr). And the thing about it is some people get passionate about it, bringing about some truly lively RPing.

I actually had a new thought about this, after reading the threads title ...
