Repair isn't working

By passing the launcher fails because its the wrong build

the launcher gets to 100% applying patch 3/4 step, but doesn't validate.

Been like this for 2 days

Anyone else having this issue?

I had similar problems today. Disabling then reenabling the primary network card and then flushing the DNS cache fixed it for me.

I've had this happening since Tuesday - Which was also Microsoft Patch Tuesday Shocked

My problem was that the Launcher was stalling out on Client Validation.(0/4)
- I tried importing the patch, and then it stalled out on (1/4).

Tried running the Repair Tool and it failed.
Tried disabling A/V, Firewall and it failed.
ipconfig /flushdns and disabling/enabling the Network card did not have any effect.

Last night, I decided to see if I could make a clean install into a new folder.
--- the online executable was failing so I tried the offline installation. Executable downloaded fine, but both of the compressed files were 0 kb.

-- decided to sleep on it.

I'm a Systems Administrator - not a programmer - and after trying again from a remote computer this morning, I found that this computer was able to download the offline file installation payload easily.

-- That ruled out that the likely problem was CCP's website.
So, I'm sitting here thinking... Windows update... some of my users were complaining that their remote session file transfers were failing and I found that the IE Proxy settings had been enabled right after the last update... I wonder...
(Note: not all these users use IE, in fact one is vehemently opposed to IE and uses Chrome or Firefox - however, I still had to open IE on her computer and apply the changes for her file transfers to work correctly).

1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Select the gear (tools).
3) Select Internet Options -- Connections Tab
4) Select LAN Settings.
5) If Proxy settings is Checked, Uncheck it. (mine was).

6) Eve finished downloading the update and the Client is Ready!

I know this may not be the solution for everyone, but give it a try. Good Luck!

I can't believe more people aren't having this problem.

Anyone got an idea?
