yeh but op was on about a place more livable than dodging elves in a fish-gutting factory on top of a bloody volcano just outside the arctic goddamn circle which is basically anywhere

elves are more tolerable neighbors than melbourners anyway

They just need to hire more recluses.

As someone who pretty much hates people as a generality, I can confirm working in Iceland would be wonderful. Icelandic people are so dull, there is literally nothing there to hate. Except the ice. So they need to hire Canadian recluses.

Hey guys.

Also, I don't know what he's talking about. I'm on cable, I live near Brisbane, and I get a 32ms ping to the EVE servers so...

Again, why do we think the volcano is a negative?!
its one of the hallmarks of a good Lair, now all they need is Hilmars face carved into the side of it Blink (yes i am aware its not that sort of volcano but im sure they will think of something)

Actually, the only nice cities I can think of aren't on that list, Brisbane and Hobart.

2 hour flight from Iceland (daily flights), 15-20 minutes from the airport to the city center, not hellishly expensive Smile

Maximum of 1 hour time difference from Iceland.

And I live there. Which is always good.

Yea but... Glasgow...

Ooooh, Barcelona's having a considerable amount of difficulty at present; Spain is as a whole, but Barcelona in particular. I could see a dozen or so CCPs having an impact on that economy. But, just one? They'd be quickly consumed by the current.

Were it not so, Barcelona is a gem of a city. No one can go wrong living there...IF you mind the culture, and heritage.
I wouldn't recommend it to the Bull In A China Shop sorts. They keep the bulls in the rings there. ¡Olé!

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

Not actually, bulfighting was banned a few years ago, to great outrage of a tiny minority and the general "meh" of the average citizen.

On the oher hand, local customs imply some crazy stuff ranging from erecting human towers 8, 9 and 10 people tall to burning massive amounts of gunpowder in man-made firestorms... Lol

OOOH! And if Icelanders miss the New Year's fireworks, we do the same on June 24th... all night long... and the bravest can leap over lit bonfires.

Oh please, people. Texas. North Texas, specifically. You can get dirt cheap office space with amazing tech infrastructure here. The women are beautiful, the food and drink is mostly pretty cheap, we have the best BBQ in the world, and I live here.

Also, who likes German weather? The only good thing you can say about German weather is that it's not Belgian or Icelandic weather! Lol

We are talking about attracting foreigners. As a matter of fact, we should discard places where people lives because there wasn't anywhere else to go. P
