I was not aware that CCP were standing beside you holding a gun to your head and forcing you to do PI.

i had a POS before PI and was good thing didnt interfer with fleets or missions or anything now costa more in time than what its worth , I thought the focus of eve was to be on spaceships not taking my time up with crap , but i am sorry if running a pos no probs for 3 years or so with no probs is not part of your time on eve ,ever since PI it has been going down hill for POS`s i did enjoy them that is why i never charged for anything from it obviously hilmar see`s things differently

Still no one forcing you to do PI in order to keep your POS fueled. Just do what you did before PI was introduced and buy the damn stuff off the market.

260 AUD, is that was worthless as 260 CAD?

If that pos of yours was only for helping people with BPC's maybe those people that were being helped should help you keep the pos fueled so they can continue to be helped.

Confirming OP is mad.

There is always one kid who throws a tantrum when all the cat poo is removed from the sandbox overnight, moving some precious grains of sand around.

As for a bit of more constructive commenting: OP, you're acting out in a knee-jerk reaction. Now frankly this is too late, but what you should have done was prepare for any touching of the game mechanics you use most. That way you'd have had a nice fuel buffer now, and more than enough time to wait for the CO situation to stabilize. Still, this is EVE. You didn't prepare? Tough, you're not the only one. Just weather the storm like everyone else.

Another thing you have to consider is that 'mining it yourself' ≠ free. If you are going to do POS stuff, take into account the value of the stuff you get off the planets. The price of labour does not go down in the end, frankly, the added tax being static, the effective price of your labour goes up. It will be paid by the customer of your end product. If you were going to give that labour away in the first place... yeah well lets just call that a very bad business model. It's very nice of you I'm sure, but blaming CCP for the effect this has on your happy tree friends is like blaming the rain for your PC going dead when you have no roof.

Markets change, rules change, if you are going to assume a static world IRL, you are going to end up more angry than you are now, not just at the CCP CEO, and with some seriously larger problems to solve than in this game.

I for one have grown to love the changes (and I do a lot of PI), I've never had so many logistical changes to make.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you've been playing for a few years, and you've gone from having to purchase various POS fuel materials, to being able to manufacture them, to having to pay some tax on them, and the tax is the sole reason you're saying **** this game ... then I dare say that you're lying to yourself and you're just looking for a reason to quit in a public manner.

Or you're not quitting at all, you just want to pretend for the forum drama.

Complaining about not being able to play Spaceville for "free"?

Thought about charging for your time to cover costs?

Everyone would have over 9000 dislikes, and the system would crash from the number of dislikes per second.

Anyway...

There are people that can actually read this crap? I'm impressed. I would have just given it an F- and moved on.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!
