Although I like DTP, I dont think this should be sticked. First of all because we have more than just one podcast: should all of them have a sticky otherwise one is favored over the other? Second, it takes away from all the other sticky-threads (you cant just make everything a sticky).

Anyways, much love for DTP ;)

As much as I would love a sticky I dont think we need it. This thread is updated because I like to syndicate it from my website to here so people dont miss out

Not bad... I'm surprised that the unclosable wormhole wasn't discussed more, particularly with regards to the danger of null sec blobs being able invade your system uncontested. Also, i would have liked to hear more of Fozzies ideas on future wormhole content (developer created).

As far as the unclosable holes. He does say they are closable. And from my guess it would take about 60-80 frigs to close it. Nothing you couldnt handle in a strong t3 fleet/smart bombing battleships ;)

For anything not announced you have to keep in mind that type of stuff is NDA and we wouldn't get an answer so we never ask it. We arent there to put someone in a uncomfortable position.

Yeah i'm still not sure about the new frig wormholes... A portion of the community feel that it could potentially allow nullsec groups to easily invade your systems and that, without clone swapping, wormholes who use expensive implants, won't use these new holes.

IDK Fozzie sounded pretty willing to discuss future plans on the understanding that nothing he said guarenteed to make it into the game. It would have just been nice to get a deeper insight into his vision for the future of wormhole space.

Well many are quick to over react on even potential rumors. He even says he doesnt want to say much on the off chance that it doesnt work out later on and knowing the eve community they would probably try to cruicify him because he didnt deliver something he mentioned on some podcast 6 months prior. I would probably do the same with our track record as a community to take rumors and over inflate them (not the wh community in specific but the eve community in general)

I more or less agree that the frig holes are strictly mediocre.
I think theyre actually right in the middle; they dont add much but also dont bring anything bad.
However I do not think that there is any concern over NS invasions since a) frigs are not really much of an invasion force and b) nullseccers dont give a crap about WHs.

Yeah i am of the opinion that if the frig Wh's could only activate to NS or LS they would be a very usefull addition, but Wh to WH i don't think should happen.

I wish eve players would stop saying "content". You may as well say stuff or things...

Good show though.

@ Jack Mitton - You say everyones ideas to increase the population in wormhole space are "crap". What is your best idea to a) attract new players & b) retain/entertain existing players? ... If you can't really think of one, maybe your opinion doesn't count for much.

It's just really non specific and kind of a lazy way to describe something. "We scanned our chain to find content", "a guy created content for us by warping to a wormhole where we blew up his ship", "there is more content in k-space", "i like the content of my lunch box today"... Why not just say what you really mean so people know what you are actually saying? Blink Everyone does it, not just you guys.

Agreed. Very over used word.
