Sorry, but what is "TTP"?

Time To Penis.

I guess Hilmar or somebody else used this phrase at one Fanfest or sth like that. Basically it means that if they would allow us to draw anything for Eve sooner than later somebody would draw a penis.

As for blog: full of nothing but promises of incoming dev blogs and threads about changes that nobody cares about. Seriously, nothing worth any attention will get released on September 30th.

Typical ccp so useless, Instead of messing with intys again after they already had there pass and were nerfed,

How about you rebalence blops and reduce fuel cost for them?

Yeah go ahead and tweak your numbers on interceptors and interdictors.
It's not as if you've neglected heavy interdiction cruisers, logistics, recon ships, strategic cruisers, black ops, or capital ships for the past several expansions.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Did anyone consider:

A) more people fly inty's?
B) they possibly are working on the T2/3 cruisers but it's taking longer than expected to get it right.

At the end of the day there are always going to be those who whinge and whine over every release, "oh, my ship used to pwn everyone now it's nerfed so it only kills 75%" or "oh I use to make trillions now I only make hundreds of billions". The updates aren't to everyones taste, especially the older account holders who think they have devine right to have the game their way.

For the past couple of years majority of expansions / releases are mostly Bug Fixes and Window Dressing mixed with a little bit of content. Basically a lot of Icing being placed on very little Cake. Too much Eye-Candy is making this game very top heavy pertaining to PC requirements. Almost everyday the Launcher is updating the game with another unknown patch.

Take for example Tool-Tips. Those are great but it's getting to the point where just moving the mouse causes various Tool-Tips to pop up which constantly block the view.

Named Module updates

In the first set of changes to a long term initiative to make sure rare and advanced modules are useful and “make sense”, Oceanus will bring updates to Capacitor Flux Coils, Survey Scanners, Cargo Scanners, Ship Scanners, Reactor Controls, Co-Processors and Micro Auxiliary Power Cores. The whole initiative, similar to the long running ship balancing project, will be presented in an upcoming dev blog.

This is great but how about finishing up ships before jumping on this.

I agree that rare and advanced modules need to be updated. However nowhere did I see any mention of what class of modules. When I see the phrase 'Rare & Advanced' I immediately think of Storyline and Officer modules. If those are the class of modules getting reworked then it's definitely long overdue, especially for the Storyline Modules.

While you're at it, Storyline BPC's need to be reworked as well. The minimal amount of runs available on a Storyline BPC should be at least 5 runs with a maximum of 10 runs. These BPC's are only available from Cosmos Agents which can only be completed once in the life of the character. Also the amount of materials needed to produce the Storyline modules needs to be lowered. Also those required items need to spawn more often.

Lastly how about including Storyline Modules in the loot table of Storyline Agents.

The new cloaking sequence is pretty cool. The rest of the stuff is pretty bleh from my perspective.

Just throwing in my 2 cents of support.

While not a wormhole dweller it is good to see them getting a full treatment over the course of two expansions. I am very pleased with that commitment.

It seems like the overall theme of Oceanus is going to be visual updates. Eve is already a very beautiful game and I am delighted to see continuing efforts to maintain that.

I look forward to the interceptor and destroyer balance. A new T2 destroyer would be great. But if it can't make it in I am glad these ships are getting attention.

Overall, it seems like Oceanus will affect the game along the lines of a 'little' expansion in keeping with the 10 release philosophy, but the changes seem good and steady progress for improving the game in all its areas.

I do appreciate Seagull's statement of 'we know Sov and Null is the big issue and no worries it's coming.' Statements like that help me to appreciate the little niceties coming in expansions like Oceanus.

Looks like CCP is keeping Eve trucking into the future and I can't ask for more than that.

Seriously, this crap is everywhere. Is there a modern sci-fi artist that doesn't plaster hexagons on everything? Do they all have a Battletech fetish? Maybe it's some future version of the Time Cube, only, you know, not nonsense because it's the future?

I know: they represent the six-dimensional quantum singularity that retroactively reversed the neutron flow and absorbed all creativity from the universe.

CCP Seagull.... You an the team work hard to improve the game; Thank You The on going propensity to "Re-balance" every ship type in the game should be given additional planning before it is RAMMED into the game. It seems like every time we train up a ship to use it at it's full advantage; IT GETS NERFED. javascript:insertsmiley('Oops','/Images/Emoticons/ccp_oops.png')

I think some of you need to be reminded these are six week UPDATES. We were kind of spoiled with Kronos starting out. Not every update is going to have groundbreaking awesome stuff. The entire point of the six-week updates is so they CAN get the little stuff in they want to without having to wait for a giant release.

So what if there's nothing you want to see in this one? you're only going to be waiting a month and a half now for the next one.

I for one, personally prefer seeing little cool stuff tossed in when they can, and see the stuff that NEEDS to be done right have been taken the time to get just right.

EVE has always been a game that rewards the patient. You see that every time you finish a skill that took weeks to learn, and when you finally get into that new ship, or try out what that new skill unlocked.

Give the devs time to get it right, instead of whining because you want everything done now now now.

the wormholes are great after the last update.

why are there so many people who can't understand how a fast release cycle works? this is just stupid, you are not 10 year olds. act your age people!

The whole "be patient" argument is stupid. Some of us have been waiting for years for CCP to deliver on some promises.

And it would be nice to have at least one groundbreaking and awesome expansion, because it has been literally years since anything of the sort.

Visual effects and cosmetics are very nice - but could be nice to know if development of EVE is frozen forever or there is a hope for anything bigger? Like new type of space. *Other* space games are full of procedural and scaling content lately...
