Interesting theoretical setup, but hardly achievable in practice except under ideal situations.

This fit has 20M EHP when you get every last bit of cap sucked out of your hull.

Huh ?

How can you neut a supercarrier ?

Bhaalgorn.

Welpfleet. Two hundred hurricanes with two neuts each will cap out any supercarrier in less than a minute. Once the active hardeners shut down, the super's resists go down the drain, which drastically increases the applied damage. I suspect eventually we'll see battlecruisers with medium neuts for extra cap-sucking power.

Someone suggested using triage carriers to cap up supers. Any carrier that enters triage against that sort of fleet would get instantly capped out and melted since it would neither be able to rep itself (no cap) nor receive remote repairs (triage). The only real counter would be a fully passive tank combined with a two or three dozen Pantheon carriers, or cap boosters and extremely good timing.

Or, you know, passive hardeners. Granted, those are usually used more for lag concerns (in case you're unable to load grid, you can't turn on active hardeners), but still, they do see use.

They're also dirt cheap, relatively speaking.

A fleet of them can down a single supercapital before the enemy can save it, and then die to the rest of the enemy fleet; we consider this an op success in the present metagame.

You can thank Grath for suggesting this to you for 3 months straight

wait so all i need is 200 canes for every sc they bring... so at that rate if they bring 100 sc i would have to bring 20,000 canes... wow thats awesome... how about we boost dreads by adding capital nuets (sig raduis based so they dont work on sub caps)
that way you go from 200 ships to 4...

How about instead of whinging about wanting the game mechanics to adapt to you, you adapt yourself to the game mechanics? Bring a fleet of 250 hurricanes, kill a supercarrier; reship, repeat ad nauseum. It works.

Could get way more if you fill the mids with a shield tank and then add in Leviathan bonus.
