That's a simple song to play in guitar, by the way. The opening/main melody is just a basic G chord, picked and pulling your fingers off of some fretted notes and putting them back on. Then a basic C and a basic D strummed. If I remember correctly. If you play around with fretted and open string on the G chord, you'll find it.

Scott Walker, "Cossacks Are" Few have heard of Scott Walker outside of the UK, but he's a heavy musical hitter from way back. I first heard of him from an interview with a Norwegian black metal guitarist/songwriter, who claimed this crooner as the person he most wants to emulate. David Bowie, Brian Eno, many others have said something similar.

Check out Scott Walker, it's a long and rich trip over a lot of years, and intense at every point.
